hey guys, my bike once again sen for operation liao. so sianzz... now at planet... haI~ think another spark plug, don understand y keep having probs... i got a ques, isit if my bike cannot handle lock, is becoz of the ignition that side?? if i change one then can wrk liao huh?? issit it expensive??

 

so sian lor, every mth also got one prob.. haI~

ya most likely, u can turn your key hole easily? if not i think the ignition barrel must take out and check.

 

Btw where's this BBT and how much is the entrance fees...

i'm keen to go this weekend!!

Meeting place: Boon Lay Shell (PIE Exit Jalan Bahar)

Time: 8.30 am - 4/5 pm

 

Fee: RM38 per hour

Estimated Expense: S$60-$70 (Track, Food, Petrol, Spare)

 

Attire:

Leather Suit

 

or

 

Armour Mesh jacket

Full Face helmet

Full Gloves

Normal Jeans

SAF Boots

 

Optional

-----------

Rollerblade knee guard to be worn inside of jeans.

 

Advice

---------

Plenty of rest Zzzzzzz

Drink plenty of water

Check for Tyre lifespan

Check Engine Oil Level

Check Brake pads wear and brake fluid

Check for chain wear

Bring along tool kits and if possible spare parts (i.e spark plugs)

Bring Passport

Know your limits on the track

 

Attendence will be confirmed on wednesday night.

might as well list out all the problems u know and see if can one shot do it up... definitely can save some.

btw if ur ignition barrel really spoilt, maybe u can look for this chap?

ignition barrel , cheap cheap, can be rewire by duct tape.

actually i also donno got wat probs hahhaa... but i know when i look under the seat, most of the place is quite oily, think oil is leaking bit by bit, but i was told it is ok, recently i read abt clearing carbon, is that important?? will the mech do it for us?? i actually thinking of buying the front tyre from dyerfix, but then donno his tyre good or not, he say use onli 1 yr, but thread still deep, i guess shld be ok... might nid to chage mirror, and right signal light.. problems wise, i really donno wat are there, i hope don have haha.. wonder if the mech at planet will tell mi, think he will check for mi.. so sianzzz

rev over 10k rpm regularly, but not tt often la. Like tt consider as clear carbon liao. G4 are meant to be whacked, it's a whore, it u dun whack it, liek wat kevin said, u r letting it down. Of coz do it at appropriate places la. Thou i am a wuss rider, but sometimes need to jerk out some of the carbon is also not a bad thing.

You can always used your gortex SAF boots. They saved my ankle in a low side at one of the expressway filter lanes. Ankle got pinned under bike and dragged but came out fine.

if the ignition barrel is difficult to turn, squirt WD40 into the key hole until overflow out, afew times, then see if its still diff to turn.

adictive: wow... rev over 10 rpm?? that is like so noisy lor... don dare to do that, scared later ppl complain... think i will get the bike shop mech to do for me.. anyway, later will be going to planet liao, hopefully my bike will be done up.. so sianzzz...

2) how offent u'll find a gd condition or well maintain bike?

3) also came across a website that list the specs of this bike "now lost it, can any1 give me the link?"

rev while running, ram the engine but not when stationary. it's not good for engine...as in when running on 2nd gear and above try to give engine a rev to clear some carbon. Do this once a while should be fine.
