hiy project how are you mate! I've been looking into the gear position indicator and it the gear position switch needs to be changed for the type with seven wires to make it work as the G4 switch doesnt register in all gears. The seven wire can be made to work 2 ways. you can use it to illuminate a matrix display with numbers or you can do as i have done and light LEDs. Mine works in a way that in first gear 1 light, 2nd 2,3rd 3, 4th 4, 5th 5 ,6th nolight. Also the neutral light on the dash still works. So when you are concentrating on max speed you cant see a light so you dont change.

 

In the UK we put the G750 engines into the G4 but the frame rails need to be widened to accomodate the headers.

Guys, just brought GSXR400 today.. Any1 selling gsxr400's side stand? mine i think the owner break it, the part that ur foot can step to push it dwn de... also the netural light, high beam light that assembly the bulb inside can change de nt?

anyone has friends scrapping g4 or lobang for left side engine cover(clutch cover)? I'm searching high and low for it. Mine bike engine cover had a slight crack which resulted in EO leaking after a slight a stationary today and currently looking for one. Urgent pls..my contact no 93620583

no la bike now at bikeworkz. EO leaking...

This noon, while stopping, intending to land the ground with my right foot then suddenly my jeans cutting trapped at the foot peg lever. Thus MY FOOT CANNOT GO DOWN, BUT MY BIKE AND ME GO DOWN. Dunno why so suay also, like tt engine cover also cracked. Not forgetting that I got another parking summon in the morning. WTF!

I only know a place call planet that has a couple of scrapped g4

perhaps u can try ya luck there. SHouldn'tcost tt much for a side stand
