hmm....then which bike more power.....as last time i hear that zx400r can overrun a gsxr400r.....

and controlling wise....

hmm...i tried 3 gsxr400r(including the one i m riding now) before i tried the zxr400...

In terms of acceleration, the zxr400 feels much more torquey...top speed wise i cant comment cos nvr try the zxr400's top speed, haha but then again, on paper the zxr400 is suppose to cough out abt 65bhp(zxr abt 7 years old) compared to my gsxr's approximate 59bhp(but my gsxr is abt 13yrs old so erms)...

As for controlling wise, the zxr's riding position is more upright and less leaning fwd compared to my gsxr and since i aredi accustomed to my gsxr, i feel that in terms of banking at corners, the gsxr is more stable but if talk abt turning wif jus the handlebars(no banking), zxr feels easier to turn

Just my humble opinion...

Those clamps look pretty normal, tink can get at neighborhood hardware shops and jus clamp onto ur bike urself ba

Those clamps sold in the hardware store is wider and may not fit. Anyway today at Saleng, Johore Bahru, saw a damm chio FM plate gsxr400 with carbon fibre "Arrow" exhaust park beside a motorbike shop. I checked out the gsxr400, there is also no clamps on the airbox side.

I believe the older model may not come with it, because there is a metal clip one on each side of the air box to keep the rubber manifold in place. The RR model may have a slightly different design airbox.

Went and ask, and it belong to the boss there. I ask him how much he charge to spray gsxr400 single color and he told me 100 odd ringit (fairings, front mud guard and fuel tank), takes abt 1-2 weeks depending on weather, which is quite appealing. Btw the paintwork on his gsxr400 is not done by him, it was the way it is now when he bought it 2-3 years ago for $3K+ in sg.

He told me he did a top overhaul himself to change the piston rod bearing, by getting the parts from sg. Which gives me some confidence he is quite good with servicing big cc bikes.
