You can remove the plugs on cylinders 1 and 4 without having to remove the fuel tank if you have a long enuff spark plug tool.

For cylinders 2 and 3, no choice, have to remove the tank.

actually no need to take off the tank, provided u got the plug remover tool. the middle 2 just poke thru the lobangs on both sides and unscrew.

IS is impedence stabiliser

VS is voltage stabiliser.

Im not sure wat are the differences betw these 2 but im using the IS now. yet to try out the VS. so far my response on throttle has improved quite a bit.. eng brake not as much as before.. when changing gear, the transmission is smooth..

but fuel consumption increased by 5km to 10km b4 reserve only. Might remove the IS and try the VS instead.

Bro, i won't recommend u use back 10-40 EO cause it's too dense liao. G4's old eNgine might not tahan and the sound will be very hoarse. That's my 2 cents worth.

Bro, thought 15W50 is denser than 10W40?

I donnoe whether its my EO is too thick or one of my sparkplug is playing dead that cause all these sputtering noises..

i'm not riding a G4 anymore :D

Was using Shell Advanced Ultra. hmm....exact viscosity cannot remember anymore. :sorry:

It's wat Guan Hoe uses co i go there for my servicing needs.

I dun think running on a higher viscosity oil will give you the probs you describe.

Best way to know if yer plugs need to be swapped is to open yer bike up to have a look see. Other than that, its rather difficult to confirm.

some tell-tale signs that one or more of yer plugs may be goners:

1) Bike sounds like a scrambler :p

2) No power, have to rev like mad to move off from stand still

3) Strong smell of unburnt fuel from the exhaust

tell u the eaziest way dude...after warm up ur bike for 2-5min..spray some water onto the header...if the pipe hot* means the spark plug is wkin...

Are you refering to the oil sump nut or the whole oil sump pan??

I mean the entire oil sump pan. my drain plug internal threads are giving way...and the nut have been previously already been mod. its using a normal bolt to secure rather den the oringal drain plug.

Can take out the whole oil sump pan during engine oil change, send to machine shop to repair the damage thread and purchase a new oil drain nut and new oil sump pan gasket.

What is the wattage and ratings of the bulbs and fuse did you use on the headlight? Normally the fuse will give way instead of burning up the wires. Hopefully your head light assembly is not burnt up like mine.

The headlight assembly at the back was so badly burnt and melted by previous owners I replace the whole unit.

The prob is the hole have been already been bored to bigger size...thus the current drain plug is replaced by a size 19 bolt. i dunno if it can still be bored again..

Actually the headlight assy and wires are still intact...the probs is the right control switch wires...they gt burn thus i can't switch on my headlights...i encounter this prob before therefore i change the whole right control panel. but the prob came back...i assume is the my chassis temp burn the wires cos they are closely together.
