Argh..when can I get back my Gsxr...Feel so uneasy and itchy without it..Ven got a Full Face helmet for it. Now dunno undergoing whatever transplanting at the motordiam. Mech is going give me a call once the engine is stripped so I can examine the damage..Geez.,I also feel a bit paiseh for the mech.. dunno if can get free over haul..

thought u said they replacing the damaged parts with 2nd hand parts for you? means free overhaul with 2nd hand parts right?

Juz curious...all GSXs have 2 fans issit????

Mine doesn't have any switch to turn those fans on..... why have fans tat can't be turn on????

fans are auto turn on after your bike hits a certain temperature. there are 2 fans stuck to your radiator.

Y not do both at the same time. Check ur air filter also.

me only know how to move from pt A to pt B.... know nothing much on bikes.... swakoo me...hehehe

change your oil filter. spark plugs, wash & sync your carbs.

get your air filter cleaned/changed too.

 

tuning your clean carbs with a clogged & dirty air filter isnt such a good idea rite? so for best results, do all together.

 

this may solve your problem.

hi guys,

 

my bike juz got knocked over 2 days ago by this female when shes getting out of her lot.

bike repair liao seems to be only cosmetic injuries (paint came off) on the tank and fairing....

 

my gripe tho is, i wonder if its jus me thats paranoid cos i seem to feel that the bike is vibrating more now when i riding above 4k and close throttle, its the kind of viberation that is felt from the footpegs.. my mech say its nothing....

 

do you guys who nver drop bike befor hav the same experience?

is it jus me or is there smthing to it?

 

 

i juz had this problem too.... when my bike skidded sia... when to mech. let him check it out... its from the sprocket... he oil the chain a bit and move the wheel a bit then ok liao.. not much of a big problem i guess..

lost my front end at ecp corner into east coast park, dry weather didn't notice corner was damp and sandy...

Hey Reu, you Okay? How is your machine.?? Today the Mech and I dismantle the whole engine block and took out the piston..Now my piston is at the bike shop. Can any engine gurus go down and help me take a look if the parts are damaged.?

 

Is it a must to change new piston or piston ring whenever I removed the piston so that the piston ring can sit in with the cylinder??

injured shoulder elbow and knee, my bro said the skid marks were 6-7 meters... skin came off lucky din see bone... doc say abrasion quite bad will take up to a month to heal..

 

only the front left of the bike damaged, the engine cover picha, gear lever, left mirror, mech says its not too serious.

 

Tealeaf, pls hold on to ur left top faring for me, i may need some other parts as well....thanks.
