GSXR400, best tuning is at K&T. Dont ask why, go and try it out you will know. And K&N air filter definiately boast up ur response, dont listen to old man said use stock. Stock air filter sucks. Try it out u will know..

the idleing seems alot will stuck at 2-3 then very slowly or sometimes never move back to 1...

 

.. very heavy consumption leh.... my fulltank b4 reserve onli 180 sia... used to be able to clock 230-250

K&T tuning is $80. But the boss dont really like to service g4. But if u also wan to include changing plugs and EO, he might have 2nd though.

 

K&N filter, can buy from eversuccess. Use katana 750 air filter. Or try asking shop got sell 2nd hand anot.

I've experienced that before.

Technically i've not solved the problem cos i still dun know the exact cause for that. So far heard of a few possible reasons for that.

1) air-fuel mixture screw up due to the air part...... can't remember the exact part that was said to be the problem..... i tink it was the manifolds or something.... basically a leak of air in the carbs

2) tuning problem i guess? ever since i went for tuning late last year or early this year it has not been occuring anymore.

went to bike works today apparently the previous owner hav been doin his bike there for past 2 yrs too. =)

they are really nice ppl n gd.. ah huat checked my bike for over an hr n put in alot of effort to let me know the problem even when i told ah beng i wasnt gonna change anything today. they didnt charge me anything for workmanship.

 

at the same time another fren re-tunned his gsx r-mod there.. everything is fine. so frm first time experience.. UPZ to bikeworks! =D

ks is located along the stretch of jln besar opposite regina.

u mean that time when u service carb, they nv rectify out the problem of your float?

the g4 k n n airfilter is used katana 750.......u have to modify it to fit in the g4........if wan get 2nd hand maybe can try planet ask ah chong whether he have or not........:smile:
