haiz... my bike keep die engie whn i stop @ junction .. sianz... e bike warm up le...

wat wrg with it ah...

i ride it den sunddenly whn stop @ junction netural den 2 - 3 sec engie die

can further describe the problems?

I can list a few possibilities:-

- tank no more petrol

- air filter super dirty, engine will die when u blow and close throttle while idling

- carburettor problem

- clutch cable worn out

tt's wat i can think off...

ur bike warm up? was it too hot? as in the tempt gauge surpassed the red line? If so, maybe its radiator problems like need to change coolant, thermostat probs, fan not working, etc..

 

but even then, dont think the bike will die off due to the heat.. unless super hot i think

 

so have u figured out whats the problem?

bloody hell, chris i saw u yest nite, at around 1130pm.. u from AYE cut PIE go back tuas area. horned u but u too fast liao.. cant catch up with u.

Hey ppz.... juz need to knoe more abt G4.... I'm a new rider of it... got few qns to ask...

 

1) Where to service carbs.... mine leaking abit i think... Mind qoute price ...

2)Bike is gr8 at gears 1 , 2 , 3 but sumtimes aft 4th n 5th gear, got this funni sound...

3) Where is good to service mi bike... mine RR model.... intending to rebuild the performance of the bike..... bit by bit... any tips....

Hi afiqmufc86, first of all I would like to welcome you to the g4 company. Seems like we have some affiliations from the bikes we rode before. I did ride a rs125 for a couple of months as my first bike pior to my current gsxr400 rr model.

 

Now I shall answer your queries,

1) I would recommend ah beng at bikeworkz. I got my bike tuned 2 times by him. He does a good job on carb tuning.

2)I do experienced this high tone while travelling and I guess it's pretty normal especially on gear 5, 6. This exhaust roar sounds great during first 3 gears. IMO, real power kicks in after 100km/h.

3)As mentioned in the 1st ans. The only thing u need to do to this bike is to fix the necessary wear and tear parts bit by bit since it's over 10yrs old to avoid any unnecessary breakdown. Save enuff doughs to touch up, treat it well and u will not let you down.

HAIZZZ juz cme bck frm Malaysia ah boy ytd... left my bike threre!! the meachnie TOld mI my bike condittion veri cham... gt smething burnin my spark plug !! so after i change plug 1 -2 dae will spoil e plug liao... he told mi left it thr for thm to cheak wat wrg !! advice!??
