hmm...since you already trusted them by leaving your bike with them, i guess you shud just wait for their call and update here...

 

For me, i alwiz take wad mechs say with a pinch of salt, esp JB mechs...

Spark plug create spark and cause mini "explosion" so it's normal for spark plugto get burnt. Your case should be spark plug head kena BBQ liao? Possibly be carb combustion mixture setting too rich...

this happened to my bike once too...Spark plug burn out easly...that time i do it at HKL..they say is the float or somthing...which cos it to over heat easly..cost me around $400 to fixt it

haha.. yeah man! i went there for carb wash n tune at first. at the same time was asking them to discover the problem of a "tak tak tak" sound comin from the piston areas which got faster n faster with the speed of my bike.

 

they did a full check on my bike n discovered 1 spark plug went in so deep that the piston kept knockin on the spark plug till the plug tip got smashed in. they feel its not a major problem jus doin overhual to clean up the piston etc n search for any debri. hope the piston not damge or else.. @@"

btw using my bike for 2months already...

i went for carb servis n tuning..plus neon light x2(underseat n under headferring) for $500RM...

 

luv diz bike man....

 

-front tyre pilot sport 120/60

-rear tyre dunlop sportmax

-racing sparplug cable + ngk iridium spark plug

 

btw wats the top speed u guyz try wif ur bike?

i wanna noe can it go till meter finish?

i try mine till 220 den scare liao....

recently when i close trottle, the RPM will somehow maintain at 2.5/3 and will not go down, it will occur only after riding it for more than 10 minutes. i did a check with my mech and he said must wash carb and tune. its gonna cost $75. worth it? also i am interested in getting a molded head and tail to make it more 'modern', any good shops to get it done?

It means ur bike has been tuned to be rich.

 

Plug burn out as in foul isn't it? Very common on my WR2 last time.

 

Blacksmoke is a picture of too much carbon in it.

 

So it all points to ur bike has been tuned rich and u've been riding like a poosie.

 

Go and whack it once a week.

 

Piston spoilt means ur bike cannot run liao. Piston ring damaged will emit whitish smoke from the exhaust. U should hear some kinda weird sound and ur bike will feel sluggish like hell.
