It must come with the cap. Otherwise it would just flow out and swash onto your yummy pillion (if you're getting lucky on a clubbin nite) butt. End up, ger not happy, u not happy, bike go cranky, nobody get's any action.

Hi there all....Hope u guys are able to assist me....Am wondering....Coz....Onglai84 offering his bike at $3k.....which if u were to look at the specs...it's equivalent to wat he is asking.....then i saw another bike at a shop FL plate COe till 2012 at $2800....then there are some in the garage sale thread that ppl are selling of their GSXR-RP at $1500-1900....Coe ard 2012 too....SO am wondering.....How can the price range be so much of difference.....Maybe some of you could enlighten me on this price....differences....Thanks....

The price range can vary due to the different maintenance and bike's health Polabear.

I would'nt comment on the prices that you've had so far.

Per normal, for an old, under-rated bike, the private selling prices are between $1200-$2000. If the previous owner had changed or replaced lots of the parts, he'd definitely add that to his selling price.

Onglai's bike had been overhauled. That could cost a lot more. You should liaise with him what have been changed and so forth and you decide the worth. (You're an old bird, you should know what to check)

Bikeshops normally add $500-$1000 to a bike's value with no guarantee you ain't purchasing a lemmin bike.

I suppose its seller's perception and buyer's perception issue...

1. Seller values his bike at $3k, if buyer tinks its worth the price considering all factors, the deal is closed and we have 2 happy parties in the deal.

2. If buyer tinks not worth, den he move on to other deals.

But of cos best is for buyer and seller to talk to each other directly and end up both making a new fren happily, whether or not the deal closed is another issue  :cheer:

Hey there NAZ & Ferrous.......

Thanks for your insights....Regarding to checkg of the bike parts as to what is change and to the quality of the parts.....is not much an issue to me.....I guess the price difference kinda hit me is due to my expectations.....Coz i've been told by frens and kinda expect that the price frm a shop to be in the range of 1500-2000......So wen i get to know shops are offering at 2800 and even pte selling is ard 3000....got me shocked....!!!!.....I guess u guys know wat i meant.....When u expect something and got the opposite of it....It kinda HIT u big...and makes u re-think things....I guess....its true though....what u've changed to the bike is taken into consideration......Well....Looks like i've to make more surveys....make go the west side.....Anyway any of u guys staying in the EAST....Would u like to meet up....???
