bro, it's CORK

I'm facing this issue right now, hope any of you guys out here can assist me.

I observed that my bike @ neutral gear, the idling speed is at ard 1k to 1.1k with headlight on, however the idling will increase by 0.3 to 0.4k rpm whenever i off my headlight. This symptom usually occurs normally when bike is hot, otherwise everything's ok whenever i start up my bike at the start of the day.

U can either type grounding wires or send ur bike for carb balancing...either one have probs.

valve opening only occurs when the engine rpm exceed a certain rpm...

it had nothing to do with the key.

perhaps wat u mean is that u can turn your key around freely without any any clicking or blockage?

Or if you don't have the valve sound like those Class 2 bikes right..

U can always use the universal valve sound...

worst case scenario, the pits will slowly rust and wear off due to oxidation and there will be lobangs found on the headers. When that really happens, there's a few ways to fix this, either send headers for hi-temp rechrome, purchase new header for long term solution, or, buy 2nd hand header( short term solution) or lastly, take out the whole header sand and respray with hi-temp spray with a few layers(shorter term solution).

For me, as I dun like the sight of pits on the headers, I used the last resort. Lasted me for abt 4 to 5 mths only. After that I can't be bothered liao. The process of taking out the whole header is darn terok. But end results, u will feel shiok. For limited time only.

As for the rubber tube, it's actually call breather. As petrol will expand, so the excessive gas in the tank will expand as will, so it will escape thru the breather. U can get the tube at any hardware shop anyway.

hi bro, thanks for your advice!! :) do you also know the costs of doing this? are you still riding a g4? where do you service your bike? for a ten year old bike, it is a MUST to go for overhaul? and how much will overhaul costs?

and hor and hor, do you know how many g4 still out there in singapore? (your friends lah, and those in the forum for an estimate)
