Not a really bad deal as I am also getting 1 month warranty.

 

But the outlook of the bike... SEEBEH lok kok lol -_-

Prolly have to give it a fresh coat of paint sooner or later.

 

Some questions I have, does this bike have a reserve fuel indicator or switch?

Looking forward to joining u guys on outings.

Ok la. My paint work is the original white/blue paintwork but the previous owner go stick alot of ugly stickers on it and he removed some leaving the marks. Super unsightly. But buy bike interior more impt i guess. Exterior can slowly do up.

Things done so far:

Brand new rear suspension, new rubbers in carbs, serviced carbs, double bubble windscreen, voltmeter, Pilot Sport tyres, Did o ring + VAZ sprokets, front brake pump, gaskets + waterpump oil seal, Maxima CoolAid, 2nd hand rear hugger, 2nd hand front brake disc, Fizz Power brake pads front and back, 2nd hand front and back rims, Yusa battery, Reconditioned 2nd hand carbs by Planet, Front sticker number plate, front wheel bearings, new clutch plates, fortuna paintwork sponsored by spastic driver, Keitin tank pad.

 

Need sugar mommy for : Hel brake lines and top end overhaul.

oh btw i paid 2400 OTR for the bike.

my insurance is 450

Things done so far:

ic....its true indeed....engine and parts are more impt then looks.....well....it seems now there's lots of new G4 riders or owners....thats gd...oldies can share ideas and tips to the newbies....

Lets organise an outing man, bring out our bikes and let the old birds check. Cuz im planning to do up the bike. No choice. gonna have to ride it for 2-3 years until i finish my schooling and go to class 2.

So would be good to have a list of which parts im gonna have to change :p

hi all... i finally pass my tp... now officially can ride my gsx out liao.... its park in the carpark for a month liao... :sweat:

 

my temp guage isnt working... anyone know how to check if its the meter tat spoilt or some other problem??? mind teaching me... i wanna learn check it and other servicing....

congratulations....gd for you....ride yur bike well and legally....hehehe....:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: ...As for yur gauge....cld be wiring prbs...unless the old birds here knows how...which i think they do....if nt sent to shop to get it checked....Or what you could do is...check the connection...or try to look for the connection of the temp gauge....

Sounds like a reasonable price. You probably would have paid roughly about the same price if you got the bike from me. insurance wise might have saved with a 3rd party one... urs is a 2nd party i assume?

For the temp gauge i suggest you bring it to a shop to have it checked out... can't remember the temp thing is but it probably is gonna be alot of hassle to check yourself. but if its your meter thats busted i have a spare one if you need it.

Arc, my insurance is 3rd party. told the guy, bike so old liao and ugly no 1 will steal 1 ah and he relented.

 

I still think yours is a better deal but bo bian, cuz i already have a 2.8k coi left on my phantom and they took it back for 300 bucks, so i still owe the stop 2500. Might as well just take a new bike from the shop. Wanted cbr400 or RVF actually but they dont have :(

erm.. i hve done alot to my bike eversince i got itz...

had it for round 5 months le...

 

here de list of wat i had done

 

1)wash service crab.. *change e float

2)change cluth pad... *8 pieces

3)regular engie oil change plus filter..

4)chain and spocket...

5) M1 tyres !!

6)clear e air fliter

7)grounding... veri good for old bike...

spend round 1500 to do up e bike

plannin to change mirco pipe

:sweat:

I want to get a spare set of fairings.
