nt break down arcfire...tat day took out carb to wash after putting the carb back........my bike condition sucks....all gear no power....bubbly sound...cannot drag up...power lost..put at guan hoe check...!

Hassan told me that ur carb is leaking.....n it looks quite bad.....

 

Btw, ktkt....tink i saw u ....u were th one wearing scram helmet rite? tokked to the boss who told you that ur tube was not there in the 1st place

i finally found the cause of my bike having the bubbly sounding exhaust and poor engine response.

 

One of the spark plugs was fouled so i swapped a new one and then...oh yeah...she's back!!!

 

Anyway, for you guys to who may have similar symptoms, you can roughly tell which spark plug is not firing by feeling the exhaust headers to see which one is not warming up at the same rate as the others.

 

Do take note that the headers can get very very hot so check them only when you start your bike after it has cooled down all the way.

(PS - whenever you remove the fuel tank, please ensure that the fuel tap is not in the 'Prime' position) :cheeky:

Another suggestion for checking your plugs is to spray abit of wd40 or any liquid to the 4 headers before starting.....den rev abit to see which header does not evaporate the liquid as fast ...... tat way u wun burn your hands checking.....

heys guys,our nxt outin is on 6th feb,which is tomorrow.

Location:Jalan Kayu prata shop(nearest to tpe)

Time:10pm

I think most of us had comfirm goin there.Im wearin a black tee wif a monkey on it lol.so hope to c u guys there.anithing juz drop mi a sms.

You see, he insist dun have... what can I do?

Before I send my bike for carb washing there, I changed my plugs earlier the day before.... (gotta take out fairing etc) hence I know I assembled it back.

 

My friends got tell me beforehand always check for missing bolts/screws and bits after servicing there... I didn't believe.... :cry:

 

If I didn't go back to take back my fuel tank screw immediately, who knows....

 

His workmanship is good..... But the one that does the stripping and assemblying

is not.... :mad:

 

So word of advise, check for missing bolts/screws/bits! :goodluck:

 

Anyway, was going down to Chong Aik to see whether have padding for my helmet or not.....

 

Tomorrow JK, hope to see you guys there. (weather permitting)

Not that I wanna sound sour, but if you need to wash your carb,

his $35 is hard to beat!!! :thumb:

 

But next time, I'll take out and put back everything myself. :cheeky:

I normally bring my bike to Garry Motors for repairs.....as i do servicing myself, unless got big problem happen to my ger...

 

But now the (ah-wei) from garry motors pass away due to accident during the way to work...Sob Sob:nono:

 

Big problem for me now is that i dun have any relieable bike shop to go...only go to GHC@Tampines loh....

 

Quite good and cheap as me working in the industrial also....

mi actualli thought of goin down guanhoe to change engine oil n oil filter..but...esso 4t gold $20,oil filter$20+5%gst...i decided to go amk ban hong 4t gold $17+oil filter$15 wif no service charge...can u c the diff?

Icez why dun go ubi planet there? over there quite good also leh...they also dun have service charge...when i change lah..oil filter there also ard $15...but anyway...if amk there good...i also go...:p...so see u all tml~!

wooot! got my gsx. first 2a bike since i pass my tp in may.. the power is wooot.. wah damn happy with the performance of my engine... the bike shop just change the cdi, damn damn damn happy with the engine... :cheeky:
