whenever my bike is stationary at a traffic light junction, my rpm seems to be revving up and down, say from 1.25-2 back and forth. anyone encountered before? what seems to be the problem?

 

many possibilities..might be tuning off..might be air filter too dirty...might be ur carbs dirty...might be spark plug not firing properly...might be ur throttle line got prob....and touch wood...engine got prob..that is a few possibilities that i can think of right now =) think need more info to give a better analysis

yup..thought of those possibility too. I left my bike at planet today. Just now when i was riding, my bike suddenly switch off. I tried to crank my bike while moving but couldn't. So i had to stop and go to neutral then crank my bike. I successfully start my bike. I was very curious, so I blew and blew the throttle till i clear my rpm and I heard a 'Tracccck' sound from my engine. I got scared I ride my bike to planet for servicing. Hopefully its not my piston or con rod. But if it is, Im ready for the worst.

Do any of you guys know where I can find a complete front end for GSXR? Want Forks, brakes, wheels and possibly clocks?

 

I saw one at Bike Yard today, but forks and wheels gone already

hi bros, planning to get a g4 soon once i pass 2a, just need more info. my friends radiator always got prob. is that a common thing? what should i look out for on a gsxr before buying? lastly whys the resale value so much lower as compared to cbr 4? thanks.

my radiator so far no problem. look out for the fork, rotor, brakes, sparkplug set, listen to engine. all these arent cheap, so must check.

i'm oso wondering why a cbr4 is more ex than g4? a 18yr bike more ex than a 16yr bike...

took a while to get used to the riding posture...

Nice and speedy bike.

 

going for my 1st servicing since i took over the bike eiter 2molo or thur 12pm-3pm.

should be at planet, anyone wana join me?
