Same thing as if ur spraying a 2b bike header bro. Only thing you have to remove the bottom and side fairings. No need to remove header. Just wrap the other parts you dun wanna spray black such as ur radiator, front fender etc with news paper and just spray ur header using a high temp spray. I reckon it will at least stay on for 2-3 months.

Oki, thanks. will try to get rid of the rust first then spray black on it. :)

how much is it to respray just 1 fuel tank?

average price?

Depends on what design you wanna spray or just one color bro. If one color it should be about $100 plus minus? Best is to go to the shop to enquire

hehehehe I just went to Race werk and tune the carb...quite ex but they are quite detail.

Anyone knows where I can recon the header?

It looks rusty and old. Is it possible to polish it back to shinning again? :p

Wonder how much would it cost.

actually i'll recommend tuning at K&T...$40 for tuning...definitely better than racewerk..u'll be impressed...i think u can go sengkwang at amk to recon ur header...their workmanship = excellent...their price also very high...haha

however the headlight changed to the round ones. That would look nice :thumb:

Sometimes I think shop wash and tune, because maybe due to busy or wat, they don't really see whether the o-rings is in good condition or not. especially our bike are quite old liao..they might missed it. :p

I think with the carbtune, carb cleaner and time, we can do better job then the workshop...hahaha because we will be more detail.

Actually tuning the carb isn't a very difficult thing, is the taking out of the carb that is causing the trouble. :p

I guess with the right tools, time, space and knowledge we can actually service our own bikes like our fellow G4 riders in UK. We can easily get the tools and knowledge however time and space(a workshop?) are not to our advantage.

I just changed my clutch cable yesterday afternoon at Planet Motors. Cost me $20/-. :)

Brand new original Suzuki parts usually comes in plastic or box with the trademark red S logo. Cost me S$30 to have my speedo cable replaced.
