Think 2.9 & 3.2 is for Vtec models. Depend whether change Oil filter. (Vtec needs more oil as the mechanism is activated by oil pressure)

Ver S should be 2.6 -2.8. respectively....there about.

Can, but will lose some pick up. In fact last time when I change from 140/70 to 150/70. already can feel loss. If 160/60 feel even more. Also though subsjective, I dun think look nice. The tyre wall bend until.....its like trying too hard...

Also using 150/70 affects cornering. Centre of gravity higher. Maybe I just sensitive. PB1/Ver S, best stick to front 110/70, rear 140/70.

Bear in mind in the past, during Mid 90s, 160/60 is the OEM of supersports 600cc. In those days, 600cc SS was doing like 90hp with 6kg of torque.

Hi All S4 bros,

I am current doing engine run-in for my new Revo... Not going for dyno due to budget issue.. Shop mech recommend me not to go above 80km/hr until first 800km which I should be going for a first oil change.. Got 3x oil change interval every 800km.. Thats all.

Thing is.. When can start riding above that speed? After the first oil change or after all 3x change then I can push it abit harder?

Apart from the speed... What about RPM?

Thanks in advance for bros who can give me some useful advice...

If doing normal running-in, follow the manual, its the best guide for you :)

Running-in is about the RPM, not the speed, but both are still related.

Hi guys,

I need some assistance. My ignition key dropped and I realised later that the microchip imbedded in the key was missing. Needless to say I cannot fire up my bike. It can crank and the lights are all working. I suspect it must the KISS immobilizer system. Hence without the chip, my bike won't "chirp". The problem is I couldn't find my spare key.

Any SPEC rider/s out there know or had heard from anyone of any shop/s or keymaker/s that can make one for me. Bear in my though that my current key is chip-less.

Thanks for reading. Tips and pointers will be priceless. Thanks again.

Boon siew can do. I duplicated my key there. I think you meant HISS

Hi,

Thanks for response. Correct its HISS (case where fingers faster than brain). Questions. Can i just bring along my current chip-less key or do I need to have my bike there. Thanks.

Posted (edited)

That's a gd qns.... When I duplicated my key back then, I used a working key, i.e. chip is still intact, for them to duplicate. Now that ur chip was lost, it may be a different story. I suggest u call boon siew to ask.

BTW, u sure that you had lost ur chip? Could it be a HISS problem? I have dropped my keys countless times and have not lost the chip before. In fact, I don't even know hw the chip looks like.
