prices differ from model to model. the cl-st currently is only $100 after a used helmet trade in. $100 for a HJC FF is a great deal.

the one im using is FG-15, a higher end model. it cost me $260 when i bought it in sept last year.

graphic always more costly over the solid, single colour of a similar model...

the hjc fs-3 is an open face, should be below $150 before trade-in..

brasso??

from wiki:

Brasso can also be used to polish out scratches in plastics:

It is used to polish CDs, DVDs, screens, and pools in order to repair scratches. It is a mild solvent and an extremely fine abrasive, so when applied to the reflective surface of the disc and rubbed radially (in straight lines between the edge and center), it can smooth scratches and reduce their effect.[3][4][5]

Brasso can also be used on Lego minifigures to remove markings.[6]

Brasso has also been used by watch enthusiasts to polish scratches out of acrylic crystals on watches.[7]

Brasso can be successfully used to take minor (white) heat marks out of French Polished[8] wooden surfaces. The fine abrasive cuts through the surface and allows the solvent into the wax and lacquer layer. The surface should be properly cleaned and waxed after this treatment.

I've seen some putting on a camoflage mask before putting on the FF helmet. Is it for cleanliness/hygene issue or for style? I think it's already hot with FF and wouldn't the mask makes it hotter?

Probably as a make-shift breath guard, so the visor won't fog. A decent helmet will have ventilation when moving that won't bake your head. Those who scimp, will have to bear with the shortfall.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

i think you are referring to balaclava. i dun wear that.. but i wear helmet inner liner so when perspiration would be absorbed by it instead of the helmet padding, no need to wash the padding so often.. just wash the helmet inner liner will do. nothing about style.

i wear a balaclava! main reason is for hygiene reasons, i just need to wash a piece of cloth and not the whole inner liner which takes ages to dry... it just takes time to get use to it...

Yo dragonforce, you are 100% correct and yes it's the balaclava. Anyway bought 2 FF helmets this evening but the sales girl not too friendly as she's watching her 7pm Chinese drama, so no time to try and buy the balaclava & glove. Will go back and get it tomorrow lor. Cheers!
