I don't think you can bargain much. Because he does according to bike models. So normally what he quotes is it. The only time the price is lowered is when its like the total cost is maybe $610, he'll make it $600. Those kind of minor bargains. But you can try.

My bike just came back from Bikeshop along Mayo st. My trusted mech give me the reciept... And the job was done at Yeow Motor.

 

My SV650S spray "near" Orginal blue:

- Head faring (3 big piece, right - scuffed Left crack),

- 2 Tail Board (Left side - scuffed),

- tail connecting piece, front fender,

- Fuel Tank (Deep 5cm scratched, by jealous Fu*ker!)

- 2 side cover (original super dull black now sprayed shiny black)

 

All for $350! from the thread I think it is on the high side for a single colour! Is it because my bike is a 650cc Class 2, that's why bit more exxx Very painful to pay but very happy to see the result! The shine still looks like wet paint!

OK here the deal, what you guys wash/clean/polish/protect your bike with? I haven't wash my bike yet, afraid of screwing up my paint job!

I'd like to check something though. For those who have done their work at Yeow Motor. Do you collect your bike at night? Ah Huat told me his collections are all done at night. I was skeptical.

Hey guys, I'm getting a single seater soon and need to get it resprayed. I want it to be professionally sprayed and lacquered. Any idea how much it would cost for a single seater? I just want plain black.

Chipmunk. Bring it to Yeow Motor. I'd say for just the Single Seater cover itself for plain black either glossy or matt, it would cost less than $100. I'd make a guess of $60 or $80.

Ahh..they do respraying of seats, etc too?

Respraying of seats? Meaning the actual Cushion seats that you sit on? That I'm not very sure. But Single Seater, part of the fairing, even scrambler fairings, he can spray. For the actual seat itself. I'm not sure. Sorry.

Xeno... when u sprayed your bike at yeow motor u paid a deposit 1st and paid the remaining when u collect your bike? or got to pay full 1st...?

Its up to you to put a Deposit and pay later on the rest, or you can pay full cash at the end. Personally, I don't feel a need for a Deposit, the bike itself is the deposit. He's not going to give your back the bike if you refuse to pay.

thanks for the info xeno... ive already intended to go spray.. but not enuf cash for the full payment now till i get my pay at the start of next month... cos i was wondering if they will need me to pay a deposit to get the spray paint and stuffs... now i noe i can go spray and pay full when it is ready.. haa.. any idea whether they are opened tml on sun???

You can give Ah Huat a call to check when's he's open and when's he's not. Because sometimes he does open on Sunday. You can leave him your phone number, and he'll call you if he's open on Sundays. Ah Hunt's Number is 81006969.

hi all! i just got my bike back from Yeow Motors.. ah huat did a superb job to making over my bike... he really managed to mend all my fairring cracks till swee swee... im super pleased with the final spray too.... Yeow Motor highly recommended!!... but the price is steep..

price wise check wif the shop lor... cos even if we say is how much the shop may not quote u dat price oso... mine took 9days to complete... i feel if u wan a nice job den must give them abit more time... cos now rainy season, if no sun i think oso hard for the paint to dry.. anyway, some shops can lend u their fairring while they take yours to spray de.. but if u oso intend to spray your tank and rims, den i don think its possible le... bo bian la, wanna spray den got to bear wif it... i oso had to make do without my bike for 9 days... damn miserable to take mrt together wif my frenz.. haha

mine cost $500.. includes the rims, worksmanship and mending of my badly cracked pair of fairrings.. plus i opted for a better quality paint.. the boss is really a nice guy... paying more for the results and services is totally worth it..

my SP 150 skidded recently, luckily bike suffered lil damages.

mah left signal light went into da fairing which resulted crack on da signal light area.. sum scratches ar found at da side of da head fairing.

how much will da cost be to repaint and re mould back da head fairing only? any recommendations?
