I use to ride a couple of bikes back in the last 7 years but well never own a PGM but had tried once and the pickup i must agree is really good.

mine had the same prob... especially at traffic light netural go 1st gear very loud.... bike shop told me to be prepare... minor is clutch cable major is gear shaft....

mine oso same problem...but mine already confirm is gear shaft(coz already change EO and spocket)...the one i mention above is minor problem checking...dnt be like mine...anyway bike already how many years liao...time to change gear shaft.

Its during stationery and moving...the sound is different from class 2 bike when changing of gear...the feeling when changing gear is like there is a restriction..by right pgm gear box is very light coz of the dry clutch.

Oh ic there is a feel of restriction as last time when i rode my rvf and my srad 750 there would be a similar loud tuh sound when i miskick to neutral and down to gear one again while on the move.

 

I see then i guess is better to check the gear shaft.

eh, guys, although i not riding a pgm4, used to have a few friends riding it, heard 2 guy experience this prob also, i did a full servicing etc, and was fine, the other one had to do up his crank....

not riding pgm oso nvrmind...its good to share experience. Servicing already done(still got this problem)...anyway bike oso old liao. Time to change gear shaft.

wah.. really gear shaft dun scare me lei...sorry to include..* mine is during riding WHEN I AM GOING TO SLOW DOWN .. down gear got "TUH" sound BUT it only happens when after my valve open at rpm6 onwards den downgear got tis sound... Stationary wunt have tis sound.. Up gear oso no sound.. so comfirm mostly is gear shaft?
