Hi, everyone.

I'm quite new here, hope to get to know you all.

I ever own the very first NSR250 i think they call it MC16, ride the PGM2, miss out the 3 and now own the 4 for more then 7 to 8 eight. I wonder how many PGM are there really now on the road? The 4 i'm riding is a bit old now thinking of doing up abit, like rear suspension, folk etc, any recommendation?

Thinking to change the rear suspension to Ohlins, can anyone tell me which one best fix?

Thank you.

Just wonder, how ppl tend to get water out of the fusl tank, if there a bit of water went inside. Recently due to rain the drainage at the tank cover was choke, and a bit of water went inside. My friend advice me to buy something call powermax which will help, he said. i wonder how good is it, and if i just leave it there wonder what will happen.... Anyone have any ideal? Don't feel like taking out the whole tank and release whatever inside...

Lazy LOL... heheee....

Thank Bro for all the information.

I may have miss out this but does anyone have any ideal how high the engine temperature can go for the bike.

I believe honda engine belong to the hot engine type(used to heard ppl say the hotter it is the better it preform for Honda, during school day.), but when i ride NSR MC16 and PGM2, i don't have much problem with the engine temperature, it never reach more then 80 Deg C. But recently when i travel to work around jurong area, due to traffic jam the temp goes up very high and fast (last time my work place just 10min away from my home), and now sometime stop at traffic light the temp also shoot up, but once move the temp down. Flush the radi and change coolant still the same, go bike shop and check they say nothing wrong with the coolant pump.

I wonder does it help to change to a cold plug, and does it affact the performance.

Thanks.

higher range plug for eg br10ecm is better for long distance travel and on net i read up it dispel heat better, however its not recommend for traffic lite stop and go cos overflow cld b a prob unless you using br10ecmIX instead of the above.

To try regulate the flow better, refer to HRC manual on which it implies the removal of the valve in the themostat as oso recommended by some track goers....

My own opinion in addition to that... try to flush the radiator...usually has blockage due to age.....change the coolent to maxima, engine ice etc....

For rectifying the thermostat and in case u have no idea how it lok likes, refer to those nsr webpages for the nsr manual...:cheeky:
