Got Stopped by TP

Lets say i was speeding on a road with no snipers and aft a traffic light i was stopped by tp. yet they did not show me the speed i was clock at and did not issue me a printed note stating my offense which they are required to sign when u are booked by a tp on the road. wil they send a letter of offence to my house still? i was stopped by tp and b4 tt i was speeding yet when they stopped me they asked for my ic lic and insurance. i asked them why was i stopped but they told me only spot check cause my pipe was loud. is there a chance that they din mean wad they said and wana take down my particulars to book me ?

 

to summarise i wana know if a tp stop u when u speed yet did not issue u the printed receipt of offence. is there any chance they will book u? sorry for the trouble to reply cuz i was booked once for speeding and to my knowledge they will give u the printed note and show u ur offence. thank you

the TP arrived from out of the blue?

 

when u were speeding... u did not see them anywhere near u? or issit when u passed the t-light junction, it was a + or T-junction, so the TP could have made a turn to get u?

 

anyway... was ur pipe loud?

 

usually if they stopped u by the roadside, they will issue the notice str8way. u kena b4.. i oso kena b4...

 

i tink he juz wanna spotcheck and make frens.

yar i din see him den when i past the 2nd traffic light they appear.. but when they stop me only say becuz they wana spot check nth abt me speeding they even said ' wad u wan me tocatch ? ok loh mayb catch ur visor.. if they din issue me a notice of offence like we previously got.. means nth rite?.. they will hide things one anot? lol nad yar my pipe is pretty loud.. they din mention anything abt speeding.. only said ask me to be easy on the trottle cuz my pipe is loud.. and they apepar out of the blue.. dun tink they made a turn or smth i suspect they were hiding somewhere. aft the spot check they rode tgr wif me on the pie and chatted wif me b4 exiting b4 me -_- nth abt speeding .. and they got on their bike and left aft returning my ic and lic.. btw during spot checks they do take down ur particulars rite? i cant really recall sorry

seems like u got stopped by some friendly TP who juz wanted to spotcheck u

dont link too much of this routine act to yr guilty conscience (for speeding)

yar TP does some spotchecks randomly.. i kena b4. they do ask for ur license, insurance.

other than that, he talked to me about the safety of my helmet cz mine has got no visor!

 

they will issue u a ticket on the spot if therez anything wrong with u or ur bike.

even for a warning letter, they will give u on the spot one.

 

so bro.. i think u can chill abit cz wat u experienced was wat i experienced b4.

 

i do think that TP are friendly ppl dat they even ride along side u! i mean.. hu in this world has a chance to do that man!!

Don't worry abt that, very few bikers don't speed? Same way in Army, don't worry unless caught red-handed. TP would always do random checks, If I stop at the traffic lights with a TP biker, he would ask me for my ID to check. Its just random but my friends say that I look like a bad guy so the TP sure want to check my ID. Ha ha.

i kena stop before last time, due to my P plate behind drop liao. *Sigh*

 

talked to him very long ah... lucky never kena booking.. gave me a warning and stuff (but no warning letter leh)... Wrote down my particulars then drove off le.

If i m not wrong , the TP is juz doing a routine check to weed out riders who have no valid or proper licence & insurance .

 

Since he did not say anything abt summons ,i think he should juz be doing a daily routine spot check .

for p plate offence i kena b4 also dun haf letter one the pay up ticket auto come ur hse .. but speeding will haf one ticket of offence they print out from their printer if u guys noe wa di mean

hahahaha quite true. I was reaching a junction and I spotted a TP. So I stopped behind cars instead of squeezing to the front.. Then I start of slowly. Who knows he start off even slower than me, the flow of traffic bring me to 60 on a 50road. Then he slow even more. So I follow behind him and when I see my meter already 70!

 

Next thing I know.. he turn on his red lights and ask me to stop to the side.. sian...

I tot kenna speeding liao.

 

but NO...TP stopped me for not turning on headlights and wanna fine me.. then my friend keep asking for chance and he finally say "I'm giving you a chance not because of this lady here who spoke up for you but I genuinely believe you forgot to turn on your headlight"

 

He issued me a warning and told me their job here is to patrol up and down that same stretch of road for his entire shift...

 

got chai sure got attention and chance.

I do not know what is really your problem but one thing is for sure...you are just one young rider on the roads.

 

The TP or ROV have the authority to stop you for 'anything under the sky'.

 

It also does not mean that if they stop you, they MUST issue you with some sort of 'ticket'..WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET SUCH IDEA?

 

They can say one thing on site but summon you for another thing when that 'letter' comes to you.

ya lo i tio stop by tp and he print 1 thing come out i sian liao i tot $70 fly away cos of headlight.. end up is warning letter.. so happy and thank him... student very kelian kana treat as cheap labour liao.. still tio fine even kelian

warning letter got print meh? i kenna headlight warning before but it's hand written leh.. maybe times are different liao
