My coolant cap under my seat(honda sp) went missing... I am quite sure that the cap would not drop off under pressure because there was a ring attached to it. Neither would the cap melt off... To have an easy access of the cap, a key is needed to open the seat. But if that culprit had had the key, he would have driven my bike off... Can anyone enlighten me how my coolant cap could have gone missing

Its the coolant cap...The cap which is made from rubber... It shouldnot have dropped out, even it was, the rubber ring which was attached to it would have hanged the cap there...

I suspect someone put his hand under the seat and pull the cap out.. But logical speaking, why on earth he wanted to steal a coolant cap for?!

made of rubber? the overflow tank cap is it? some ppl tend to forgot to close it properly after topping up or changing coolant, maybe it dropped off becuz it wasn't secured properly in the 1st place.
