Yamaha TZR-250 3MA Rebuild in Singapore

Hi guys hey gals,

 

It's Byron in Jakarta. I've been riding and racing sport bikes since 1963 and have lived in Jakarta for the past 21 years.

 

In 1991 I purchased a new Yamaha TZR-250 "reverse cylinder" 3MA model bike, which I rode merrily around Indonesia for a number of years, until it finally needed a major overhaul.

 

I got a spare engine which I would like to have rebuilt in Singapore. Through Lee Norman and the TZR-250 Yahoo Newsgroup I learned of a shop which claimed to specialise in the 3MA engines.

 

Unfortunately at the time I lacked the money to be able to take advantage of this opportunity. In the meantime I have lost or misplaced the name of the mechanic, and wonder if any of the readers of the Singapore Bikes Forum know which place I mean?

 

I have a collection of (mostly not running) Suzuki Gamma 4-cylinders, one TZ-250 and four TZRs, three of which are 3XV models.

 

I do love the 3MA and hope to get it up and running again before too long.

 

Hope somebody can help me with a name, address and / or phone number.

if u are in singapore. u may wanna try bell wing motor. cos they do have a tz250 for displace and they are quite skillful in stuff

I use to own this bike. Sold it at S$200, as at that time i'm too poor to repair it.

 

I still in contact with my old mech that service my ex-tzr250, if u still need it pm me.
