Guys, If lets say i have car A insurance from June 09 - June 2010.

 

Assume in Oct 2009, i want to get another Car B and sell Car A.

 

There are 2 options for the insurance which experts can help me pls

 

Option A - I continue to use Car A insurance then i change the details and cover period and according to car category, i top up the extra.

 

Option B - Cancel car insurance A and buy brand new for car B.

 

Which option save money ? Option A is better ??

but instead you can cancel and use the credit to buy for Car B.

It'll be cheaper for Car B since you are a loyal customer, that's if you buying from NTUC..

how do i find out the insurance for 1.6L OPC and 2L OPC cars? This insurance prices is gona be my consideration for purchase now.

the best way is to call them up or mail them and ask for a quotation. Or better still they have this webchat thingy. Its very easy.

if touchwood u drive and had accident , u r not under coverage. everything cannot be claim and had to pay by cash cos the insurance only cover your mum.

most of the time people dont know theres a restricted plan which only covers the said driver..normally people buys comprehensive,which covers who ever drives the car..unless theres a clause which states min 3yrs driving exp or 26yr and above.. btw how much is ur mum excess? $500?
