Its called a DEMO-sedici....

 

2 seater version of the Ducati Desmosedici Motogp bike that they bring around to give the mother of all pillion ride demonstrations, with Randy Mamola as the main culprit.

 

Ok it's really called the 2 seater DESMOsedici.

 

"Desmo" is short for desmodromics, which is the valve actuation system favored and made famous by Ducati.

 

"Sedici" means 16 in italian, which represents the number of valves in the (V4 with 4 valves per cylinder) Desmosedici bike that anyone with $120,000 lying around can buy.

 

I would buy one but that wad of $120k is being used to keep my table level.

Actually both Aoyama n his team mate bike run without front fender.. And also Willarot.. All on HONDA.. The main purpose is to allow more air flow to the radiator so the engine run cooler..

I believe so it is.. Its only logical that is the main reason.. Sepang air temp usually arnd 34deg.. Damn hot.. If u noticed, aoyama had his fender on when racing in europe.. Removing the front fender at circuit like Sepang allow more air to radiator thus will definitely help to bring down the running temp.. U can give it a try during ur track day and observe the diff with n without fender:thumb:
