Kupcai and Supermotard qualifying on Saturday 14 Nov 09.

 

The races on Sunday 15 Nov 09 consists of 2 heats, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

 

As usual spectators watch for free.

Qualifying is normally on Saturday afternoon and the races usually start from 9.00 AM till 5 PM.

 

Anyway, this is the latest change to the program I just got from Jega, that the supermotard race will be on the same day as the kup cais.

Thanks for the well wishes. There were not enough participants for the 2 stroke veteran... so I will be taking part in only 2 events.

 

Hope the weather stays like how it was today for tomorrow at Tuas... cloudy and cool. The little kupcai was flying today in the qualifying.

Thanks Bro... yeah it was very exciting race for me.

 

Was behind him going into Turn 2 right after the start of the second race and managed to outbrake him on the inside for Turn 3 and thereafter tried to run away from him but could not shake him off from my back wheel until after 7 laps.

 

Had to force myself to resist riding a defensive race or else there was no way to get away from him. Had to concentrate on being fast and smooth and force myself to ignore the unsetttling sound of his bike just behind me or sometimes almost beside me and to concentrate on my own racing line.

 

And I think because I was forced to concentrate 110 per cent on being smooth and fast through the corners... I clocked a 44.7 sec lap on Lap 7 which is a timing I have never done on the little Y125Z in a race before.

Btw Raptor I heard this coming december there will be another round for Chong Aik Road Racing... If there is when the race will be?

The final round (Round 5) of the Chong Aik Road racing series for 2009 for Supermotards and Kupcais will be held on the weekend of 12/13 Dec 2009.

 

The series championship winner will be crowned at this final race.

 

After that.... Tuas track will only be a memory. Fond memories for me...At least I can say that I have raced there before.

so tuas will close down? Or is it management change? Coz if its closing down for good, tracking at tuas will be damn expensive. As its an INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT.
