Ya mayb bro.. I'm going to Hkl later to check. Hopefully is the clutch plates coz juz now I tried my fren who riding the same bike n model, he doesn't hv the same prob.

 

i suggest u go planet or bike works or racewerks but not that place.... unless u wan to be a carrot

Wat u mean carrot bro? They hv a few shops so u hv to choose the rite one. So far I trust a few of them there. So I make sure the ones I trust are the one fixing my bike. If they r nt there, I confirm will go to other Plc.. Anyway, im collecting my bike tomoro. Stand by for reviews..

i too once frequent that place because of this guy who do dyno mainly(u shld noe who). but to tell u the truth.. he is one of those that over charge in that shop regardless u regular or not. trust? u mean a mech that does a good job? there are quite a few. but is up to own preference. example: ah chong from planet - funny old man whahahaha which has lots of experience.

 

well carrot or not u like can le just a advice which u can ignore dun worry :D

Thanx guys for ur advice. My bike is now back to normal. So happy riding it back frm the workshop. Hmm.. Juz to share, my fav mech is nt frm the dyno side. Over there they always seem to charge more rather than the other 2. Anyway, happy holidays guys!! Rmbr, speeding is nuting without control.. Peace..

hi guys my r1 2012 is already about 1 year old. I recently just did the servicing after 10000Km. I changed my engine oil and oil filter,spark plug and flushed my coolent. Recently my petrol consumption has been quite bad every 160Km i have to pump about 13-14 litres. I checked with the mechanic and they say that i have to change my air filter. My air filter is the stock one and is quite dirty. But could it be the cause of bad consumption?

However, recently i noticed that my petrol consumption is quite bad ,every 160 km i have to punp 13-14 litres of petrol. I checked with the mechanic and he said that i have to change my air filter. My air filter is a stock one and i have not changed it for a year. could it be cuz of the air filter or is there any other reasons?

My 09 R1 has the same problem.

 

And it happens to be a common problem for the 09s based on r1-forum.

paint peels in the metal part near the footrest.

have went to hong leong but they say nothing can be done. it a defect but will only solve the problem for the new bike.

so sad to get this kind of review from a distributor.

 

Anyway, who can i liaise with for outing?

is the mileage tat bad since u got ur new ride? Any mods to ur exhaust sys?

Bro, I changed my clutch plates n now it's s smooth s new. Mayb u can try check 1st..

hi bros. i am riding r1 08 model. anyone experience fault code #60 and #21?

my bike cannot be started, and even if it starts, it will die off in a while.

and how much does one ECU cost from OEM? please advise, tyvm.

Nope I facing this problem just recently after my servicing…and I did not do any mods to the exhaust…

perhaps one of the plugs not workin...cause a misfiring in the combustion chamber in one of the valves

But if that's the case I shld have problem when starting my bike or have a rough sound but everything is fine…could it be air filter?

hi. im riding the 2012 model as well. with bmc racing filter, engine ice and every 3000km servicing. my mileage so far not that bad i guess, 220km before reserve light prompts. guess its the way you ride it that gives you your mileage? correct me if im wrong though.

Where to get reservoir socks for our R1 ? best if it could come in a pair for front & rear socks reservoir cover....

Acceleration power is not important than a good perfect braking system to prevent an accident.
