Was washing my bike just now and found this. The ring is rusted and dropped down along the shaft, how much and how to replace?

hi all, im riding a R1 01 model...need help ,totally clueless why this is happening..after riding to a certain distance til bike temp ard 75-80 degcelsius ,stopped while waiting for a friend say 5 minutes,when moving i have difficulties in starting bike.. the lights ar on , cracking sound when cranked but the bike just wont start..and

i always have to crank 4-5times with a bit of throttling action..

funny thing is..at start when engine cold in the morning its start perfectly ok with one cranking..do i need to replace any parts..is this electrical or engine problem?

 

hope ya guys can advise..thanx in advance

sounds normal.. try twistin abit of the throttle b4 u hit the starter switch

what yen96 means is actually means washing of carb and so call tunning ....

 

well if i am not wrong, u are basically using "hot" plugs ...

 

hot plugs give u a good start during cold/cool weather but not when your engine is hot

oh ok thanks lo-on,yen96,wayang or ya input..i try go to shop for carb washing n tuning...

2 shop mechanic told me it was my coil, rectifier and mayb battery, pocket burn lah like dat..dunno feel like gonna kena chop, it really dats the case which i tink they could be wrong..coz my lighting is all ok and my battery seems to be charging normal( my fren took the trouble to check dunno using what ohmmeter? ) anyways will i try go for carb washing, tuning n change sparkplug..regarding the hot plug which lo-on mention, what kind of plug is recommended to change.. lastly do pm me if u guys hev any recommendation for trustworthy and skill mechanic i cud go to rectify this problem..thanx all..

use plug no 27 if i am not wrong for 01 models ... eg IU27P ...

it will be at sgp route till (CP)check point Kranji Reservoir Park. we will go in malaysia for top up, after that either(option1) we go in KuLai to makan or (option 2) continue sgp to orchard - marina square roaRrrr~
