vv small the rim..dunno y..think the smallest in the 400cc category, hope its cheaper also haha..

my tyres seems to be v brittle...like harden liao...i slide a few times..on the filter lane..(nv drop luckily) and my tyre once lose grip on PIE to BKE when i try to negotiate a bend at 90km/hr..the tyres lock once when i brake gradually at multi storey carpark...DEfintely changing my tyres when i get my pay tis mth...hehe...

iM more on mileage and moderate grip as i seldom corner to the limits....

What i know, XJR uses 150/70 rear.Saw one at AS Phoon.It uses Battlax BT020.Its profile is not that high as wat 150/70 may seem.

My BT45 has a higher tyre wall.Should stick to 140/70.Buy salah,didnt check.

Guys any comment on Pirelli Dragon? I am currently using this pair and notice that there is 3 different models for it but i can't tell the difference between them,anybody can help to show some indications where i can find on my tires to tell which is my pair?

The Pirelli Dragon you're referring to, I think you mean Super Corsa Dragon.

In Pirelli Super Corsa, there are 3 compounds SC1(s) SC2(M), SC3(H)

You can tell from the compound by:

1) looking at the printed stripes around the Tyre surface

SC1: Blue/red

SC2: Green/Red

SC3: yellow/red

2) there are a little sticker on one side onf the tyre wall with this marks

(sometimes, the sticker will be covered up by the final coating of the

tyres, so you'll have to look carefully)

 

In Metzeler Rennsports: they comes also in RS1,2,3 that has the same

markings as the Pirelli's

But Metzeler also has another road/sport compound that has no printed lines or stickers on the tyres, the designation for this is call: MRS

which last much longer on road use but provide more then enough grip.

These both Pirelli/Metzeler SC and RS are hard core Dot race tyres, they're the most friendly tyres in the general racing scene but abit

slippery in the wet due to no treads on the side.

But the staff at HKL like to push something you don need to you just 2 clear stock. Gotta be careful. Happened to me. Stupidly agreed and now quite pissed off with my tires already, Feels like I am riding on ice during corners, very different from what they say will happen.

battlax 010 good for 400cc...can last long enough and can corner well oso..enough grip when warmed up.good for overall use..doesnt wear off too fast and have enough grip.
