I find the M3 tyres better than the Pilot Power overall... heats up faster, same stability, better grip and the slides are easier to ride out, plus it wears well even at johor so your pocket is spared.... We managed consistent and comfortable 41s on a '05 Yamaha 600 at Johor Circuit and on the ride up to Mersing, no drama despite our best efforts.

For 600cc and above, I feel the tyre pressures should not go above 31psi.

hi charn, glad to hear that the M3 is better than the PP.

What is the price of the M3 including balancing ah?

And how do u rate the M3 in relation with the Maxxis?

Against the current Supermaxx, front tyre surely gave me more confidence and grip wise is better, but the M3 is more expensive and a different range of tyre so it is not a fair comparison. I found the Supermaxx also gave me very good feeling in terms of sliding... it doesn't let go big time but in many minute slides.

Overall times on M3 are faster as well since we have better overall grip, but still not fair to compare a TRACK tyre against performance STREET tyre. If money no object, I'll still choose the M3 over Supermaxx though...

I am deciding between M3 and Pilot Power 2CT. Im using my bike for the occasional tour and track, but not for commuting. My mileage is about 4000km per year.

Any riders using these 2 tyres can comment?

I would suggest power 2CT ... coz its better in the dry and wet.

Coz M3 have lesser grip in the rain ... and its raining season now.

:cheer:

Sigh .... so bored ...

Bridgestone BT014

quoted $320 inclusive.

this tyres good or not har? can change?

if not anything else around that budget that i should consider? Just dun wan slippery on a wet day can liao.

imo 014 good enough for my style of riding and in wet condition. 014 can last abt 20'000km but take note after 15'000km it wil start to loss some of it effectiveness or grip. Being using 020 stock and it cannot make it in the wet. but 020 is super lasting cos mileage clock abt 30'000km.

Yeah, my 020 is super slippery on the road when it rains.. i cannot stand it anymore and went to HKL to change to 014 today. Costs me $320. and its old stock 03 manufactured one but they dun have my size anymore for any other brands...

so i ended up settling for this.. I hope its not too bad. Grip during rain can liao.
