Hey Carbine,

What kind of mileage do u get from Pilot Power? Good in the wet? Fast to get to optimum temperature?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference

Get the ConstiSport Attack guys. Paid $330 w/installation & balancing at Bikeworkz for my 120/70f 190/50r. SHould be cheaper for the 120/60f 160/60r.

Good value for money. Grippy even with the wax on. Beautiful tread pattern. Can't say about the mileage yet but its supposed to last longer then most tyres in this category such as the Pilot Powers, Sportec M1 and Diablo Corsas.

Best I like about these tyres is the shock absorbancy. It doesn't tramline or jarr like the BT 014s I was previously on.

The 120/60f and 160/60r is cheaper cause its made in malaysia.. :> so the quality isn't that good either..

need a brief review/feedback of the Michelin Pilot Road that was introduced to me. currently i'm using z6 which is due for replacement. riding style= 2/3 hiway, 1/3 street and the occasional tour up north.

i'm in between the z6/ bt020/ pilot road..........

thanks

i wud get the z6 if i gt da cash n it also have an advantage over bt020 for cornering (still regret for not buying it since it wud cost me 100+ more than my bt's n im reaching the edges of my tyres)....bt on budget i wud get bt020 which is value for money (haiz)....dunno abt pilot rd though

your claims on the malaysian made conti tyres suffer from quality is made on what grounds ?

any professional comparisons made by a review committee made on official sites online or offline ? imo if there is, then there would be a cause for concern.

its like starbucks. u find them in every country but the formula for mocha frap is almost the same.

Its cheaper NOT becos its made in msia. Its cheaper simply cos its much smaller in size.

Anyway, I doubt msia is willing to spend time n effort making tyres for big bikes. If its Continental tyres for cars then I suppose its possible. But i'm pretty sure all Conti bike tyres in sg are from Germany.

Its grippy even on wet roads man. I happily and confidently take 160-180km/hr sweepers at 2nd link during rain, drizzle and juz after the rain stops. Just be sure to warm up the tyres by flexing them first.

BUT, I did lose my grip on those painted cement roads when it was wet, and those metal road covers used during road construction.
