hmmm how far is bukit indah from jalan skudai ah?

i work shifts...so i cnt cfm about weekdays or weekends...

anw guys got any recommendation for balancer? want to change back to stock handle bar and put balancer...riding on the ah boy straight bar makes my backache for far distance...and my hands vibrate like wooo haaha...

Posted

Balancer can try get stock ones from FJT, Chong Aik or Boon Siew. If those bar-end sliders can try ask Equip-X if they have or Motovation. Do get the right balancers for Honda as the mounts are different.

So Kobe, how's the A&W trip?

hmmm bro so stock balancer is gd enuf? is stock balancer medium? was thinking of getting motivation cos they say can really reduce the vibration...if stock one gd enuf den gd le...cos motivation one seems big...haha....

For balancers to reduce vibrations, the best are in-weights balancers. Meaning the weights extend to almost the full length of your grip into the bars. Available at motorworld. If you wan to install those, must remove the nut that is in the stock handlebars via the 2 holes near the ends of the handle bars.

So far, I have been using the stock ones and I don't feel much. Cos I removed my crashbars. The common 3-point crashbars are actually having incorrect mountings and they cause vibrations. After I removed them, no more numbness in my palms.

true true...the 3 pt crash bar is not mounted on the skeleton of the bike....wonder if got ppl wanna exchange my 3 pt with their 2 pt...hahhahaha....ok thanks bro...will look around at the places u sugguested....hmmm my smaller port seems to be turning yellow....quite difficult to wash off....think getting meguire metal polish to shine it back.....

hi BF bros! i juz got myself a BF for my S4, was wondering if anyone here covered the remaining threaded holes at the exhaust where the end can fits to the header part?

does it effect the performance?

btw is yosi 4-1 header legal? if it is must we go for inspection again after installation?

thnx for the info!

I believe it doesn't affect the performance as its not a thru hole. So for the A&W trip, location not so much of an issue. If you intend to install Yoshi 4-1 header you need to get the adapter made to mount the 3 bolts at Seng Kwang. I believe they are the only shop doin it.

Cheongsteron, if you wan can get Equip-X to make sliders for you. I was thinking of getting it done. Mine totally naked. No protection. The Mecguire polish is gd. One small tub can last very long. No need to apply so much. Take finger and get a bit of it and start to swirl on your end cap. Then wipe it off to a clean shiny look.

but when i start revving, can feel air exiting from the holes.

as for headers any 4-1 is free from inspection?

any recommendations on 4-1 headers? (brand n price)

Hmm... Maybe its from the joint and not the holes exactly. Maybe I'll give mine a check again. But why do you need a 4-1 header? I was thinking of sellin mine away. Cos need some money to fund my servicing and maintenance... Kinda very tight these few months.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....how much u intend to sell? recently u did mention abt laggy acceleration rite?

was it solved?

any big diff betwn stock and aftermaket headers?

Lookin at somewhere between 350-380 with installation lor. I'll fix for you. There is a big difference in the mid-top range of the bike. Also the lower end suffers due to lowered back pressure from the exhaust system. Its actually meant for high compression engines to use 4-1 headers which has improved HP over stock. Another is the bling factor of the SS headers. :)

P.S.: Before you commit to buy from me, pls come and view first and we can nego the price. I'm not rushing to sell and neither would wan to force or convince you to buy. Cos this would involve a few hundreds of dollars you will spend on. Cheers bro... :):):)

For me FC dropped a bit compared to stock headers. Dunno should I say worst or not cos the pulling power of the bike starts at 4k rpm and it goes all the way. I must say its orgasmic... Hahhaha~!

regarding http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/302725-Yoshimura-exhaust-got-stolen-in-Punggol this link.

how can we prevent our exhaust from theft? a fellow rider recommended tag weld the bolts n nuts is it advisable/ recommended?

are there any other ways then this?

we had discussed this topic before, the best is tag weld, i did on mine, when i first installed really attracted one A$$ who tried to steal my BF(Blue flame not boy friend LOL), my alarm was triggled every night but when i went to look i saw no 1 until one day i found out that this A$$ actually come every night to loosen my BF's nut, every night will the alarm triggle, he will strike the next night, i actually find out this when i feel the air leaked at the nut area, it was so loose bu think because i weld it he was unable to steal it =) now i think that A$$ passes by my bike he can only look and wish that he is able to buy one himself. Wish he can buy his and get stolen by another A$$ HAHA.

I think my area quite dangerous, Bro Kobe's bike was being sabotaged before too, think someone jealous and wanna play game with his BF haha(ask him wad game haha)
