Wendy, dont be too upset. You know why... Coz after her departure, she will be going to another paradise. To her, perhaps its a relief. So dont get too upset. At least now, she is showing symphoms. You will be mentally prepared when she leave. Few years back, my favourite 1-year-old hamster passed away so suddenly, I got really very upset about it.

 

I am sorry if I dint give you a better consolation. Hope this is a positive thinking you can try to adopt.

now she looks healthy again.. just that her walking is slower as compared to last time... i do pick her up now n then to kiss her.. i guess i will cry big time when she pass away.. :weep:

my hamster just gave birth to 3 babies..hmm the last time she gave bith was a month a go..all the babies died..this time i hope everything should be ok.Anyone wanna book the 3 babies for adoption?

A hamster when dying, will appear skinny and wet .....thats a tell tale sign.

 

I have also discovered mine has a lump just under its neck.......Sigh.. :help:

Hey Wendy, I think its cancer. I read somewhere before, that hamsters can have cancer. Perhaps for those healthy hamsters you feed them with fresh fruits like carrots, vegs, apples, pears etc... Not all the time, just at times its good enuf. Actually I suspect its the pkt food we fed them with which is causing hammies to have cancer. Too salty, too much preservatives. A lot of my hammies also got lumps. One of them got so big that she cant move around... Walk very little a day... The sight of it makes me feel heartache.

just share out of food like chestnut, small carrot, veges, apples, pears, .....mine basically like liquid n crunchy stuffs.......:thumb:
