my 2 ham hams! MR. ham and tiny pudding princess! but... so sad.... they passed away not to long ago.. but this post will help to keep them alive forever!

Just got back home and discover my hamster just give birth to 6 babies!

 

Sad think is most not moving except 1 still moving!

What should i do now?

The parents keep walking over them even thou i've shift the position of the last surviving one!

 

I'm first time parent, PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP!!!

When i got back home, she's already given birth.

Notice all not moving except one.

Also, i didn't shift the babies!

that's wat i usually do.. leave the mummy n babies together.. give the mummy lots of tissues to make her own bedding for the babies.. provide lots of food and water..

i tot of that.. but didnt buy it.. coz i guess my hammies are not tamed enuff.. usually i just let them run on the floor in the bedroom.. within the boundaries of my grasp...

Wouldnt they sh*t ard, i tried that in the past, they will urine and sh*t ard, causing the room to smell and also have their food stored and ants will start atacking...~~~ever once i had to jam a ant nest using cement

of course let them out of their cage/tank for a while only la.. usually i just leave them in the tank.. cannot leave them running around the room all the time la.. coz if they hide in one corner of the room and i cant find.. die liao..

if they hide in ur room,shld be quite easy to find lah..unless they escape fr ur room,then headache liao..haha..

hamster have very standard places to run one...and if ever they run to your living room, they will be in a corner hiding, but when they are hungry, still they will look for food...so dont worry, they will surface...~

err.. i still dun feel comfortable letting them run around.. it's not easy to find them u know.. they r like my babies.. if one is missing, i'll panic...

hey guys. i'm new to this animal. just bought it few days back. mine is a saphyr.

anyways, i have a prob. my hamster keeps biting me. is there a reason y? mine's a male anyway. his bites are painful too. is there anyway to stop this bites? Coz i wan to enjoy playing wif it but if it keeps biting it is not fun anymore..
