Hey...ixxit true that the dwarf hamsters are more poular har? Then I hav this thinking that dwarf hamsters are more difficult to be tamed.So I still like the normal hamsters leh...I've got 5 male and 1 female. Bred them many times, then alwayx give away their off springs...

eh, my hamsters haven go to heaven yet, but i heard from my cousin that she buried her hamsters in gardens... if you think thats too extreme, maybe you can just wrap up the dead hamster, put in a box, then throw it away in the bin loh.. howse that? think that will be what i will do when my hamsters pass away.

i have 2 dw.hams i think one is a pudine (dont know how to spell the name),i just give em' any food laa and just plain water (sometimes i give them coke,milo etc),alot more to say but here only laa scared off topic ah kekeke...

i say man if my ham dies,i sure cry one...for all the memory i have with em...

Hey...u very lucky to be able to find them running ard aft they escape...Better keep them properly, becox, not everytime is so lucky one. Mine escaped...cant find...after a few dayx...smell something awful behind my mothers bed...hmm...dun need for me to elaborate ba...haiz...

 

For me is behind my mothers bed,so still can retrieve the body, my frends one some inside a corner or inside some hole...cannot retrieve...only the smell comes out...but cannot remove...haiz...

I got quite a bad experience having Dwarf hamster.....

they are small and fast.. how cum i had a hard time catching them onto my palm... when i manage to get hold of it.. it bite me.. si bei tulan

I am already gentle and summore they so small....sian sian sian. wonder how u all tackle this problem.

Hi,

If you have female dwarf hamsters it will only attack you if it is pregnant. If it is not then you have to make sure your hands are clean before handle your hamsters. Strange smells can frighten some rodents, and other smells might convince them that you are something good to eat.

 

When you first begin to tame animals, just put your hand in the cage and let them approach you. Good Luck.
