I just bought as ST1100 last month to get a feel of riding again. I am guilty of not riding it the whole of last week mainly because of the super hot weather we were experiencing. But yesterday, I wanted to take it for a ride, but duh! my battery was flat.

Advice needed - can I jump start the bike from my car? Or must I get it towed to a workshop?

If u planning to tow, i rather you go ah boy and buy a brand new $70 battery n fix in. Another choice is take out the current battery n charge it.

U need to take out seat, take out left pannier, take left side panel cover. Then can reach the batt. Its not difficult.

Call FJT and ask them if they have stock and how much the mirror assembly, I replaced mine last year when the mirror cracked/broke when I push it to adjust angle, think it was around $100-110 but I cannot rem clearly. They should be the same for all year except the plastic cover with signal bulb & lens, doesn't matter if white or blue/maroon colour your paintwork is since this is internal. The plastic cover without orange lens is about $100.

Didn't change my signal lens(orange portion) since it's still good.

The lower crash bar cover if my memory is correct should be around $25 only.

No worries, just passing info around since I replaced mine as well not too long ago.

If they don't have stock for the crash bar cover(left side) and you need it urgent, I have a brand new spare one(left side only) if you cannot wait.

You can have it until your order come in then return me, just PM me if you need it.

Normally to order it takes 1-2weeks.

Hi guys, anyone has experience installing samsung galaxy phone on bike with power cable? I'm considering this option but once go out of Singapore, no more data. Maybe have to install Garmin 590 but can only get US version that comes with US maps since local agent hasn't brought them in.

Only way is to order from FJT. Each panel costs between $100-$200, have to order and place a deposit n takes about 2-4 weeks to arrive. Sometimes more. Good thing is ur bike is still stock colour, so you can just choose this colour. You could go scrapyard to hunt, but usually fairings r snapped up immediately, n it doesnt mean e connectors n such r in good working condition.

Hi seniors out there, I'm keen to join the ST1100 community. Quite drawn to the 'vintage' feel of this machine, the speedometer dial etc. But given that this model is out of production, I am concerned about the availability and cost of replacement parts. Any advice on whether the parts are readily available and reasonably priced?

Thank you in advance!

Most ST have 100k+ milage clocked, some have 200 plus. To me, class 2bike parts are not going to be cheap, just be prepared to fork out 1k to 2k after you buy your bike to return it good cond if the previous owner did not maintain it very well, with that, you will be mentally prepared. should not have a problem with parts as there are a few parts seller in singapore, FJT, eversuccess, chong aik......etc. Do google it and few will popped up.
