IT Show 2010 - Kickstarting the New Year with a Fair

Suntec City, March 11th to 14th (Thur-Sun), Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6

 

Covering a record of 345,000 square feet of exhibit space - the largest in show history - sprawling over 5 entire show floors of Suntec Singapore (levels 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6), the IT SHOW promises to be nothing short of amazing. The 2010 IT SHOW will be action-packed and fun-filled introducing more new product categories, spanning across industries aimed to improve the consumer experience.

 

The 2010 IT SHOW will be a spectacular event where visitors will experience the latest in digital entertainment products, new gadgets & services combined with Exclusive Show Offers, Great Bargains and Huge Savings to create the ultimate consumer experience.

 

It'll probably be the same drill for me for these kinds of fairs: go there and see what kinds of unique deals with freebies I can get.

I wanna buy speakers.

 

I am still in need of the Creative XFree XE233. I bought it over 4 years back. I am hoping that i can find it again. Argh. I have never been to suntec with my bike b4. Where and how to park ah? Last time i went there with my friends, we lost the car. Spend 1 hr finding the car. Sian.

e I.T. pasar malam is back... n yearly we hv @ least 3-4.. so dun realli need to rush off to these kinda fair unless u realli hv something to buy...

 

bt as per usual typical singaporeans, all will jus cheong in jus to squeeze n join e crowd.

its pretty hard to purchase wat u desire as its over crowded....

I don't suffer from insanity,I enjoy every minute of it.

graphics card are pretty cheap these days.

 

have to depends on your power supply, motherboard, monitor, kind of games u play... etc to determine which graphics card is suitable to your rig.

There's plenty out there for you to choose from, bro.

 

A decent graphics card can be had at $60 to $150. The onboard memory capacity for those cards around that price range is usually around 128MB.

 

Brand recommendations - um, I don't have any in particular. I just picked my card out from the rest and it has served my needs nicely, gaming and internet.

Maybe the more experienced full-time computer techs can advise ;)

so u r actually looking for a above average amongst the high end wor? :smile:

 

i think easily $200 - $400. Im assuming u r getting at least 512mb.

 

seriously dou, harwarezone will garner more concise feedback - that's where i'd go for it. :p ps cant help much.

S'ok jack... rationale is that i want a high end spec enough vid card so i won't have to change another one in 2-3 years time.... but seeing hows that's the life span of video cards.... heck it buy a cheapo one. :angel:

Yes, and your motherboard model expecially. I suspect your card may be an AGP card.

I wonder if there will be any StarHub promo setup at the show, anyone knows?

I need to renew my MaxOnline contract for some freebies.

 

The CNY promo by StarHub for a free 32" LG LCD TV is not worth it.

Contract is for 2 years, with no discount on monthly subscription, and i found out that Courts selling the same TV model at only $650...

Serious! Then both my friends got a Evo 7 speakers. I told them to leave the stuff with me while you guys find the car. Then the "driver" said dont need la. I told him its better if you guys leave the heavy stuff with me and they find the car again. He said no. So okay lor.

 

So they carried the heavy 2.1 speakers with subwoofer around the car park for one hour while i was pressing the alarm button for the car because we couldnt find it. Thank God i didnt buy anything that day. :)
