Ninja ZX250r riders plz advise..

I wan reviews from the riders of Ninja 250.. Is they anyone who give me more details bout the bike.. I do not want any comparison wif other bikes juz the details of this bike itself.. I wan to noe bout wats the market price now, is there any aftermarket parts sold here, where it is sold, the bike comfort and also good things n bad things bout the bike.. Reviews from u guys r really appreciated.. Thanx...

reviews online are generally positive.

 

a great beginner's bike, good power (sufficient la, not more than haya), good handling and damn good looks (i pissed my pants when i look at the bike).

 

aftermarket parts here are available. yoshi pipes, gpr and leo vince are also available.

 

riding position is not totally upright nor leaning either.

 

bad thing is it is 250cc so you can technically go for a 400cc bike that runs faster if you prefer top speed.

 

another thing is that spare parts availabilty is not as abundant as honda. But if you know mechanics or people from malaysia, shouldn't be a problem. Kawasaki there are our yamahas here.

 

underseat storage is pretty small. about 6 cd cases stacked on top of each other. the meter is also dated, most bikes are digital, the ninja has analogue meters like those from the 1990s.

 

do take note that the ninja 250 owners in sg quite limited i think, even our forum here, there is not much acitivity on ninja so if you thinking about organising a group ride, maybe have to search abit.

if your looking for a sports 250cc bike. I know it may sound bias since i ride a daelim roadwin r 125, but you could consider a daelim roadwin r 250. Should be slightly better in terms of technical specs(fuel injected). Parts can get directly from CKA and the servicing is awesome.

 

ps: there's a fuel injected ninja 250r but i heard singapore is not importing the fuel injected ones

i don't but my friend does, took a couple of rides, in carparks top level late night so no danger.

 

there are both carbed and fuel injected ninjas but i think the one we see mostly are carburetted one.

 

as usual, i advise you to go test ride on see in person the bikes you are considering and go with what you like and can afford comfortably.

 

anything else is just opinions.
