cdi either buy from ebay.. unrestricted one @ 210....

sg 2nd hand @ 180... brand new ard 300+...

 

suspension recommend buy aftermarket..

or juz rebuild ur original one....

hi guys,

first time posting on an rvf thread hahaha!

think you guys should have experience la,

i just enrolled for class 2a,

stopped riding for few months already,

actually wanted to quit but, its in my BLOOD HAHA!

so now i wanna make a come back, but with a bigger bike this time!

been thinking about getting an rvf but scared cannot maintain or something like that.

so i just wanna ask you guys,

ur advice on the maintenance and price of a good RVF

i've only got roughly about 5k on hand,

and i'm serving NS next month, the thing is, i'm pes E because of the accident few months ago so i guess i'll be doing 8-5 hahah!

400 per month, will it be hard to keep an RVF?

NS pay would be hard to upkeep a bike...Especially a 400cc sportsbike..Let's put it this way,

 

You use the 5K to cash out a RVF, how about insurance??That comes every yearly..

How about petrol??Your bike needs to drink..

You're probably on 8-5..Worse still got petrol,maintainence,personal expenses etc etc..

Weekend die cos nt much $$$ to spend..

1 year later, you're still in NS..How about things like tyres, insurance, rd tax, brake pads, sparkplugs, flushing of coolant??

Probably need to change EO every 3-4 month which is likely to set you back by another $80(This one still ok larx)

Haven factor in things which is due for a change cos of wear and tear.

 

Dont suffer becos of the passion to ride, you wont enjoy it to the fullest..

do you currently own a 2b bike? why not consider keeping it?

cheap is not the matter... wat matters is if can afford to service it when it breaks down...

coz 2b bikes cheap, service also cheap... petrol consumption also not bad other than scramblers...

 

once u step onto 2a n 2 class bike... u will become PAP....
