well u need at least 1 week to recon a badly damage battery.

a highly sulfate battery needs to desulfate aka recondition 1st. ahbo even fully charge oso cannot hold charges.

eg. a new battery can hold 100% charges.

if ur battery is 80% sulfated = fully charge only holds 20% of maximum capacity. this is a reason y bike shop always say

'we can charge for u but it wont last long. u have to change to a new battery' = earn ur $$

a highly sulfate battery needs to desulfate aka recondition 1st. ahbo even fully charge oso cannot hold charges.

eg. a new battery can hold 100% charges.

if ur battery is 80% sulfated = fully charge only holds 20% of maximum capacity. this is a reason y bike shop always say

'we can charge for u but it wont last long. u have to change to a new battery' = earn ur $$

not pro. just took some time to read up on batts. our bike battery (ytz10s yuasa brand) cos > $110 where can tahan. y waste such money.

i wont bother reading just change a new 1 if its other models like those for kup kia or smaller cc bike ($20-$30)or even a yuasa battery for roland bike is like +- $60 nia.

once ok or if its totally cmi, after replace new 1 then pass it back to me.

i remember reading some guys in gixxer thread saying they buy like 50-60 at a shop opp regina which sells yuasa battery.

i guess maybe for g1l or older bikes ba. buy urs 160? wtf sia...

1st hand put @ 30k OTR..

 

You down 5K, loan for 7 years, interest yearly is probably at 7-9%..

 

25k x 1.49 / 84 Months = $443 a month for 7% interest rate..

 

By the end of 4 years, left with 16k installment to clear..Probably haven break even depending on how the market value is by then.

 

$443 x 12 = $5316 yearly

1 year you have to

 

4 EO + Filter change on the average = Around $80 x 4 = $240

Road Tax = $160 before Discount..Latest discount at around 23% which works out to $123.20 half yearly which equals to $246.40 a year.

1 pair of tyres a year = $430

Insurance a year we put at $1200(Probably higher depending on age)

Chain + Sprocket a year = $300

Petrol = $150 monthly(Depends) = $1800 yearly

 

Let's not count in repairs, mods, parking, cashcard etc etc.

 

So conclusion,

 

$5316(Installment) + $240(EO + Filter) + $246(Road Tax) + $430(Tyres) + $1200(Insurance) + $300(Chain Sprocket) + $1800(Petrol) = $9532 Spend a year Min which works out to $794.30 to be put aside a month.

desulfator cost me $54.50. if u 1 just pass me ur battery recon + charge. just tabao 1 beggar chicken will do:angel:

limbat sometimes got give free recon session on sunday. but its kinda too short (ard 2hrs session) need few days to really see results.
