i think can lah...u need to weld a plate on the left exhaust to act as a stopper for your mainstand...even if you buy Original mainstand, any other after market mainstand u still need to do the add-ons plate...bcoz your aftermkt exhaust dun have the mainstand stopper...

go sengkwang and do it la...solve your problem...mainstand is practicle stuff...

Btw,what brands of engine oil you guys are using? So far for this bike,I try only Dephi 10w 50 and Amsoil 20w 50...

So far i tried Castrol R4, Maxima Extra and Motul 300V.

Castrol R4 - not bad actually quite smooth :p

Maxima Extra - i feel castrol R4 is better

Motul 300V - OH MY GOD!! hehehe... I feel if u like to always ride fast and furious ard 7000K starting to slack already...:thumb:

Anyway i always change ard 10000k or less... depends..

How abt u guys? Give ur comments....

I am using the goldfren for my rear,$20 sintered types.$18 for the normal type.Front is the the same price.Got it at FJT.DIY.

Another brand we can try is vesrah sintered types from eversuccess beside mustafa.$18 per pair.No point getting those HH "brands" of good pads as we wont be making full us of them.Dun ever use SBS or other "lower grade" pads as they will eat yr discs faster and have alot brake dust.

Bro james, where is FJT? wanted to try the brake pad u r using. thks.

VeeTwin Power after u rode a twin... u never want a straight four!!!

My first oil change was the dephi 10w 50 cause it was cheap($18 per bt),not bad, respond feel quite light and happy in the rev.Use it for ard 7-8K before changing.

2nd oil change was Amsoil 20w 50($20)(Read that twin engine uses 20w 50) as the dephi price went up to $20.Very heavy feeling at first, need some mileage to get it smooth.use it for ard 8k then find it very hard to change gear,so had my 3rd oil change today.

Maxima extra 15w 50($21),gear shift quite smooth,no comment yet as just change, will monitor.

Past rides are already history....

Whahahaha. You still dun know his style? He is always like that, telling pple he got shipment coming, please confirm and pay deposit thingy. Then always tell customers whom are waiting that goods will be arriving in 3-4weeks every time they went down.

I had encounter this when i order my steelbrake hoses for my R1,waited for up to 3mths still not yet come,in the end, before the hoses come,I already sold off my bike.

Alot of guys encounter the 'long" wait 3-6months maybe.U can ask nixs he is one of them.

Please be careful about fixing the HB mainstand. It is tilted to one side when up and it is very very difficult to park it up. Some of the guys here have tried my bike when it had the stand.

Unless is has been improved otherwise you r better off buying the Yammi one.

You're probably looking for a thinner oil, the Ultra 5W50 will be closer to R4's viscosity.

To all of you who have their TPS change, whats your output?

I felt my bike just got a little pinch today...for the 1st time since i bought the bike,i have this situation...while riding off to 3rd gear, throttle still open, bike died as if the throttle cable snap....have to stop at road side to restart bike...then its ok...never happen to me before...normally its the usual clutch-in and bike die...but this is different...

another problem, since replacing the TPS,when i want to start bike,on ignition, bike cant start...got cranking...off the key ignition and on back, then can start....happen about 3 times so far after replacing TPS...Take How also face similar problems...and the clutch in die situation still happening but on rare occasion...

although have to admit there's a better in throttle handling as it feels light when open throttle...

Is Yamaha really thought they solve the problems by replacing the TPS?i personally felt they sux big time in troubleshooting...

i think u r really mixed up. innards doesn't ride fz6, and the guy with loud pipes on fz6 doesn't have h&b racks. neither is that his number.
