Firestorm and BtwoB,thanks for the concern...its two more days..i have done no preparation...only just did oil change and add another worm to my rear wheels....:giddy:

 

tomoro nite at 9pm me and Mr Boon is meeting at Kim Keat Rd mamak kopitiam for a little discussion on the Samui...would be much appreciate if you guys can join...:thumb:

 

And also we will be leaving Thursday midnite...

If anyone wanna pump petrol can meet us at Petronas GP...cheers

Hey guys .. jus got off the phone with Aric from Motovation .. they got headlight protector (clear) for us .. going at S$45/-. 5 piece left. I'm meeting him this Thurs to take a look at the product. So anybody interested ???

Thanks BtwoB. Think the price quoted is quite high. Some feedbacks from those who have put on the headlight protector are that dirt tend to get stuck between the protector and headlight. So will always need to take out the protector while washing the bike. Also, the glass is actually quite thick and will not be easily broken unless you kena big stones at very high speed which is very unlikely. Jus my two cents worth... The choice is yours..

Aiya, anyway still u need to clean/wash ur whole bike rite... just take out n clean, simple mah... :p

Hi guys,

 

Seldom post here.

 

Reading Larry post on the cow have me thinking about the near accident I have during my trip in Thailand.

 

Was happily riding [at a rather fast speed though, my bad :o ] thru a village.

Its a 2way lane.

 

Guess I was paying too much attention to the surrounding that somehow thru the corner of my eyes, can see/feel that something was spinning towards me.

 

Turned fast enough to see a Cup Kia spinning and sliding toward me.

Well, can feel my "cake" coming out.:giddy:

 

I dun have mentioned how I summoned all my technical knowledge and reflect to avoid this near miss.:cheeky:

 

After stopping, realise the Cub Kia had hit a cow while also speeding along the road and the cow was lying there, head bloodied and grasping for air.

Guess the villiagers will have a good meal that night

 

Thus take care.. erm take note... of the cows, will ya...

Bro A.J & Boon, have a gd & solid trip. I dieing for a trip but tis is toooooo long a distance for my sexy cute ass to taha man. Keep a look out on the highway man.

On a long trip, my no. 1 problem is .......zzzzzzzzing..... so to prevent that, hv more stops & wash up face lor.

anyway,i havent sleep yet searching for the Brake pads and calipers issue that i mention to takehow...but searching many pages on Carpe,can't find...

 

 

but Takehow...Enduro tyres on our 18inch is possible tubeless...

My two cents worth on front tyres - I always run a Michelin Sirac - rear tyre fitted in reverse direction on the front & run it tubeless - no worries :thumb:
