hey guys.. i saw someone with a tdm with aftermarkets exhaust and it sounds so cool..it was at carpark speed and i thought it was a harley till i turned. is this one more expensive then the fazer?

Any of you had changed front and rear original spockets and chain before?Prices and places?

I was quoted original front and rear spockets plus RK XSO chain for $240-260....

Past rides are already history....

Current ride: FW VFR 800 ABS

i was 23 then..

 

Road tax should be around $300 per year or less...

I was quoted original front and rear spockets plus RK XSO chain for $240-260....

 

front and rear original sprockets cost between $65-$75...auto machinery...so does that makes the chain and labour about $180???

 

what i usually do...buy original sprockets...go LAB buy RK or EK 525 O or X ring and ask them to fit my sprockets together...extra charges for sprockets shud be $5-$10....price of chain plus the chain installation...$80-$85

as for insurance...my age and al-simmon not that far lah...:angel:

 

i paid $700 last march07...for 2nd party....AIG if not mistaken...loois motor did all the job...well....i am 29yrs....tall...getting more fat...tan...brown eyes....losing a little hair...and likes chocolate...:thumb:

any more info i have to charge at 5bux per question...

I check with AM the front and rear original spockets cost nearly $90 now.:(

bro jus renew my rd tax $135 for 6mth after rebate by GOV. bought e bike in feb tis yr paying $600+ 2nd party insu from NTUC.

Last yr was $290/yr & just renew mine last month for $270/yr but i missed by i day (miss interpret de date) :giddy: kena 10 bucks penalty; thus $280/yr :angry: + :sian:

 

Insurance wise; after some comparison with Nt*c, Mitsu* & AIG, de lowest goes to AIG, i done mine at ANDA insurance @ Upper Thomson rd.. :thumb:

Btw, u got try Auto-Cycle; they also carry yammie's parts; got my real rotor from them; dam reasonable price i must say.. like cup-kia parts' price.. :angel: but, same like am lar, no nets.. :sian:

bro james, i did a chain conversion on my vtr to 520.

For Vtwin engine low end high troque, the chain still stay in a piece (aft even putting it in track use).......

Guess is safe ya.

 

The weight tat the conversion save is quite a fair bit. Bike .indeed feel much lighter

VeeTwin Power after u rode a twin... u never want a straight four!!!
