Hi guys.

Just came back from Biketech21.

The boss quote me the following for TDM900:

$430 for SW motech rack

$205 for SW motech crashbar IF 3 pieces

$240 for SW motech mainstand

 

further discount if any item hit 5 pieces.

best to reply him within these 1-2 weeks.

For the size is 2 inches taller than the normal one. In fact, I would like to have a taller one. Maybe we shall meet at bike tech and discuss which one better? For the colour,

hey, i can add to the number if someone is doing a MO. I want a shield at least 20cm higher than the stock one. Smoked colour (a darker shade prefered).

 

thomas, adding 2 inch may not help much (depends on ur ht). i'm 6ft and tried one from AJ which is about 10cm higher than my stock, but still alot of noise. if i bend my head down a little more, than noise reduction is significant. if you need just a little higher, you can persuade AJ to part with the spare screen.

 

i'll be away for a month, so may not be able to access the internet all the time. going backpacking...wish i can bring along my yammie.

btw,the screen that pcr is talkin bout is not my eaglescreen...he is talkin bout the spare one i have that is the double bubble which is now on his bike...thomas seen it already..he dont like it.

 

anyways pcr...acerly ar...you can ride your bike all the way to china...you need some papers....since errr...you're a teacher....you give some excuse lah say you doing some assignment and project....say you have to visits schools from malaysia,hatyai,vietnam,laos,and beijing to give some speech or something...definately the visa sure approve...:cheeky:

Had the TDM for 2 months now, love every min of riding on it.. Just that mine is 10 yrs old now, and there are bound to be wear and tear. notice some stains of dried coolant on my engine casing, so i decided to find the root if the problem, traced it back all the way to the radiator, it was leaking between the fins.

 

Removed the entire radiator and sand down the leaking area.

did a pressure test on the radiator,

(best way to do it at home is in the bathroom, covering all the hole, leaving only one access to the radiator, stick a hose in, and see where the water shoots out from..)

and there were 6 holes!

 

after i sand down the area and dried it, i apply 2 layer of epoxy (steel Hard). leaving for 1hr to dry, then i did a pressure test again. once i confirm that there was no where else leaking, i resprayed the radiator to give it a new look and left it over for the epoxy to fully settle in. fixed everything back, and now my radiator is working great. :)
