hihi, just my 2c worth. there are many options for accommodation at brichang, and at much cheaper rates. the plus point, i feel, is being in a small town where u can stroll around for makan. the restaurants do serve a wider variety of food. the road up back to equatorial is very dark, and misty at night, if you do go down to town for dinner when staying there.

 

on weekends, there is also a pasar malam. erm, when i was there few years ago, but i think it's a tradition.

 

oh, do visit the butterfly farm! they have a cool collection of weird looking insects.

And got a call from Thomas...he keens to join...he said the sw-motech mainstand and crashbar from biketech21 just arrived yesterday nite..

 

so once he instal the mainstand and windscreen,he would love to join for the trip...so we will have another kopi this coming friday ok to discuss on the route..I will meet you guys at Cameron on Sunday morning around 7-8am.

I donno nukyeman...the local trail could be very nasty during the normal season but will even give a better background landscape photos with the greenary...

 

Last sunday was a bliss...as this month is the dry season,we didnt even came across any puddles...it was dry...good to ride through...except for some obstacles that could be abit tough like falling logs,and deep sand...this

would only leave dust inside out of your machine..but during monsoon season,it could be very tough...for the low mount exhaust,and for the dirty mud that could even reach your batt compartment...even the signal switch could be jammed...It happened on before...so the best bet to do off-road when the monsoon season comes,is across the border...Nusajaya and Gelang Patah area...

 

I believe there's a new believer in the off-roading department for the TDM...

 

You guys gotta believe me...the TDM,handles better off-road than my AT..

 

So,alot of the peeps out there,have alot that they are missing...

 

And since the XT660Z did'nt come to our shore...our will mod my TDM as close as this...

of coz lah...last time using handphone camera...now slowly learning to use a proper sony H-10 camera....but still,i dump the manual the day i got it.just try an error lor...

Once i got better shooting,then i try the DSLR...but abit leceh to bring those bulking poser looking camera...the normal cybershot camera still does great.

yea, slowly. I get what you mean by it'll be lighter without the boxes. One day will try. Just scared if crash got nothing protecting the sides and exhaust. But if it's soft sand...just whack la. Still got to get use to the drifting and all.
