Hi guys

I'm new here and i've just got my Class 2 license a few days ago. :)

I have been riding a Honda Steed for 3+ yrs before I decide to go for Class 2.

Now I'm looking for a Class 2 bike that will suit me but I dun know much abt the variety available.

I have noticed that there dun seem to be alot of Class 2 cruisers around on the road, so I'm considering getting a tourer.

I want a bike that's comfortable to ride and has low FC to mileage ratio.

Have been reading some of the threads here and i noticed that this TDM900 seems like a pretty good bike.

Can anyone enlighten me on where i can get a used TDM900? And maybe tell me more abt this TDM900?

Thanks in advance. :)

Hi there uuei,

Thank you for finding interest in the TDM. We'r quite a quiet bunch here compared to hot bike threads in this forum. Basically, all that you need to know about the TDM is pretty much covered in the past 40 pages in this thread. If thats not enough to convince you to get one, then maybe these links will help speed up your decision :D Also feel free to ask questions, we'll be glad to help. Anyway....the TDM has got little issues/problems..hence nothing much to discuss also hahaha :cheer:

Anyway....yappiez, boon16 and I always meet up informally @ Bulls eye cafe. Owner of that Cafe is a TDM rider as well. We were there last night at 10pm. Drop by there if you need to find a TDM owner to chat. He'll be there for sure.

boon16 just returned from phuket, phi phi & krabi on his TDM. Verdict is that TDM is very reliable.

comics00, whats this cooling jacket? How come yappiez will need it? Or is it some married men joke?

AJ, many of us are pretty busy with work and settling down...hence hard to go for rides...but dun worry, we'll try to plan one soon and get all the TDM riders to go :thumb: Stay tuned.

thanks for the reply and invitation, barracuda.

jus met up with a fren of mine who rides a BMW and was telling him abt my interest in getting a TDM900.

coincidentally, he has a fren who's a TDM rider and owns a cafe too. (i heard it's somewhere along river valley road...)

maybe it's the same person ur talking abt? :cheeky:

i will slowly read through all the related threads abt the TDM, just so i know more abt this bike.

coz i'm really looking for a good bike to ride long term.

can anyone tell me if it's more worthwhile to buy a new one or a 2nd hand one?

actually i'd love a new bike but am too afraid of getting it scratched by some pesky kids or just dropping it by myself due to inexperience... so i think i'll probably get a 2nd hand one.

plus my budget a bit tight lah... :sian:

anyone here selling their TDM900 or knows of anyone selling?

That must be the same guy we are talking about... I remember him mentioning having a friend on a BMW as well. They both have bought after market pipes waiting to be installed.

Currently no one I know is trying to sell. Probably have to check shops.

oh, that's great. my fren's gonna bring me down to this cafe sometime this wk so i can learn more abt the TDM900 from that cafe owner. :cheeky:

maybe i'll get to meet some of the other TDM900 owners from this forum as well.
