If for day to day riding & not aggressive cornering, is a very cheap tires.

Now a day Virus bike stay parked most of the time, hence it serve him

well......

But if you guys were to see how Virus take corner, only Pilot road 2

can give him the grip he needed.

 

Twin Terror once used it too.

I'm not that corner siao... Takehow was the king of corner siao. Nowady go trip mostly highway. Corner? Unless go frazer hill or cameron highland, then I'll change tryes.

Honestly, I think alot of new owners has the tendency of wanting to buy/replace stuff on their new piece although the previous owner had been very comfortable with the setup. Case of itchy hands syndrome perhaps? I think I'll also be a victim of such condition when I finally get mine. Hehehe!!!

I on the other hand am a advocate of using grippy tires.. Why put your life on the line and try to save money on tires when they're your first line of defence?

 

I thought of an Analogy the other day when i met Victor,

 

Alot of ppl know going to prostitutes ( riding bike ) is not safe.

 

While we choose to go to the prostitute ( ride bike ) it's our choice if we decide to go raw ( no tire )

 

or buy the cheapest condom availiable ( cheapest tire ) and risk having aids ( meeting with accident )

lol. So giving speech in next Rally? No la, I mean see where you riding. If you do mostly highway, go road tyre. If you do trunk roads, the semi off road tyre is amazing. With all the unexpected, I was very pleased with the results even though I lost speed on highways.
