hi guys! my uncle is getting his 02 tdm..wondering wats are the legal end cans beside leo vince and gpr.. and if anyone one is selling please pm me. and where to get high windsheild which one do you guys recommend? any other mods/upgrades you guys recommending? he is getting the scott oiler too.

for legal end cans, there are also scorpion and remus. the rest are mostly illegal. you can still fix but dun get caught and need to keep stock pipes for annual inspection. Tall windscreen can order from overseas. the brand is eagle windscreen. locally, you can get givi windscreen or mra. Other upgrades are usually more for touring purposes and cosmetics. eg. bar risers, fatbars, voltmeter, cigarette socket, fog lights and so on. Is ur uncle's tdm in stock condition or otherwise? usually used tdm bikes are equipped with the min stuff eg. tankbra, handguard, engine guard and racks. the rest you can slowly buy according to needs or wants.

Forget SK unless u need customized solutions. And even if u need, can try Ah An at kaki bukit. Much cheaper.

 

Plenty of ready made accessories for TDM. Too bad ur uncle bit late else can perhaps get some from @encore who just sold his bike. U can ask him of he still has the H&B panniers rack for sale.

At least like Kmax, u frequently travel with Jane so likely she'll still allow u to ride sould both of u tie the knot.

 

For me, although my wife smetimes is ok for me to go riding, it's not really the same. Must agar agar.

Depending what items u do. Pricing is impt for me cos I have a family to feed. Hahaha!! And honestly the rack he did for me was very nice.

 

U wan eagle tall screen? I think it is the tallest of all.

Different ppl prefer different wind screens . . . I prefer e givi cos it suits my riding style . Kmax have been to places many of us can only dream of going to . . . with his tall screens n he's loving it every single day . . . 

If ur uncle just wanna go touring or cruising than e tall screen will suit him well ! If he's a speed demon like Paikia than forget abt it . . .

Oei...... I obey speed limits one ok.... Although not frequently. Hehehehe.

 

I reckon for those who goes touring and not at excessive speed is fine with the tall screens. I'm thinking of getting a lower one to 'try'. Where to get the Givi ones? Chiap Lee?

btw pls note my MRA is only the top piece, the bottom main windshield is a GIVI. For optimum results get both pieces from MRA. MRA sold at Hodaka.
