Could it be the seller that was spoiling mkt at $6.5k:cheeky:

Hahaha... Bro 3TripleFour decided to keep the bike. Maybe the responses were too overwhelming that he realize the bike is worth more than he is selling.

Unless there's a good deal, most likely I'll keep the TDM. Now doing all the necessary servicing, replacement of worn parts and accessorising. Just changed rear rubber and later leaving my bike at my old bike shop which I bought my 1st bike (Suzuki RG125) almost 20yrs ago to replace the steering cone.

The TDM is still a charmer. Sexy exhaust note, excellent handling, cheap to maintain and with a fuel consumption to 'wow' about. Bagus!!

Just collected my bike after replacing steering cone bearings. What happened was for those who remember, I was having some braking problems when coming to a halt with the front brakes seemingly to be intermittent. At high speed no problem. Glenn mentioned it could be my front wheel bearings that's causing the problem.

Been riding this way for couple months until recently noticed the steering bit wobbly esp when going pass slight grooves (like the lines along the expressway) and decided to get it checked. Planet claimed my front discs warp but I don't believe. Reason being my experience of warp discs are it'll vibrate when braking at high speed which is absent in my case. Went for 2nd opinion and suspected steering cone problem as there's some sound when we shook the bike at main stand.

For the journey back from tomato town to woodylands, there wasn't any more wobbling and braking seems smooth. But will monitor for couple more days.

For those who may have similar problem, don't just change discs. You'll waste couple hundreds for the new discs which might not be the problem.

Cost of cone bearings: $98.

Labour charges: $50(subjective).

Riding feel: Priceless!

Glenn helped me got those. It was around $200+ for a pair!!

So far been serving me well after around more than 6 months? Front braking feels firm and very assuring. There was awhile when there were some squeaking sound when I'm braking but when the discs run in liao no more sound.

When I said my bike braking intermittent, many assumed it was the front discs warp. When in fact they were working fine.

And I do quite a lot of heavy (front) braking these days since I gotten used and got back the 'feel' of riding. :p

Thanks Paikia. I try to order header from Hong Leong and auto machinery. I remembered Kmax told me the price was about $400. But we I call them, they told me don't know the price.

Any idea where I can order one?
