i still have one spare front rim at home.. anyone want to bring spare for touring... can borrow to you...

 

Bring spare cables, spare bulbs, spare levers I heard of... Bring the entire spare rim is first time.... LOL!! :cheeky:

Anyway guys..... Most likely I will be handing over my TDM this Sat. I say 'most likely' cos it's never confirm until it's signed on the dotted line and cash in hand... :cheeky:

 

Many thanks to all who rendered assistance to me during my tenure as a TDM owner. Esp to @kmax who introduced me to this awesome machine.... Well, i might be riding a different bike come Sat but I will still be the irritating paikia and you should still see me around pretty often both here and in TDM FB page (although there isn't much activities on both sites... o_O).

 

Hope we can have a meet up soon (maybe this Friday night or after I get my replacement bike...) Cheers!! :cheers:

hey guys,

 

need to tap your brains before i ride over to vicom for a check. i remove my battery for 3 weeks when away for trip, and charged it before & after the trip...got a used CTEK from limbat (nice chap)...also got the HIR (not HID) bulbs...brighter but at same wattage...

 

anyway, i reconnected the wires exactly the same way, but my IU cant read the card. but my carpark gantry can sense my IU and raise the barrier. So...what is the problem? did i not connect the IU properly? OR the internal battery in the IU died? (it's only 4 years old, and disconnected for only 3 weeks??)

 

btw, here's some bike pics i took while in western europe...drool...

Bro PCR, can go to any inspection centre to check the conditions of the IU...

but got spirit...can be detected by the gantry sensor to let me pass

The spirit might be brought back by you from Europe...

went to vicom today, check here and there, try to catch the spirit oso... aiyah, the fuse blown liao, that's why. But i still wonder why my gantry can detect it if no power goes thru it...

 

FB...looks like it's tdm 850!!

Nope. I stay on the north. But I usually take AYE and to PIE/BKE in the evening to go home.

 

Perhaps u'll be the last one to see me on my TDM cos I'm handing over the bike this Sat. Hahaha

if it aint spoilt, dont replace...

 

my kind of work...i start work before the erp gantries light up...

 

another small problem...my low beam seems like high beam, too high. tried to take out and put back, but the angle does not seem to change to lower :(

the screw knob next to the low beam bulb is to adjust left/right (according to manual)?

 

you better replace the IU.. coz it's over 4 years.. and warranty is only 5 years..

joseph TDM sold... mine sold.. C.Rat white TDM sold...

 

a few people view for firdhaus and Ridesaddon
