No need blur.

The pics you see now is the one that most of us prefer to have. (shape a)

 

Eagle 280 posted earlier by Barra is his 'light blub' shaped, which I did not want. (shape b)

 

Unless you guys specify exactly which one you want, I will try to get all in shape a. (if there are no additional cost.)

 

Whichever the case, I will update here once i have a reply from them.

No we cant do that shape anymore Eddie. We decided to take the screen straight up instead of sloping forward for allowing the wind to slip over the screen better.

 

A lot of riders are steering away from Windlips these days as well, especially with the more upright style screens. Windlips tend to create more turbulence than they solve.

I see. Will you still be able to achieve the shape as in the outline of the screen without the sloping forward?

This is only for cosmetic reasons as I find the normal 'fan blade' shape make the front of the bike looking like the Alien head from the movies.

AJ, a word of caution for dark tint screen. You might not be able to see through the screen, especially at night. Personally, its a concern for me. I like to be able to see the very front part of the road at times. Thats why I chose the clear one the final time I ordered from eagle. Of coz dark ones look 'garang' lah. Functionality vs looks. You decide.

 

Another thing, the fan out/light bulb has its advantages. Especially for 'big' guys. The wider top part actually blocks off wind hitting your 'wide' shoulders/torso. Again functionality vs looks. Don't forget Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb :cheeky:

Yes we can square-up the shape of the screen , no problem...it's just the slope away from the rider that we cannot do these days.

So just to finalize the order, please edit this list if you find a problem with it.

(I will confirm order Friday morning. No more changes after that)

1) yappiez / +210mm / square design / smoke grey / with lip

2) boon / +210mm / square design / smoke grey / with lip

3) AJ / +300mm / square design / black / with lip

4) TH / +300mm / square design / smoke grey / with lip

 

 

Available options are

1) square design or light blub design

2) colour (refer to website)

3) with lip or with lip. (refer to the attachment I posted , i.e, the sample from Eagle.

*** With lip might not be able to go to +300. Indicate "MAX" if you still want it with lip

i hv oso giv it a tot..after looking at ur latest windshield posting...the smoke tint with flip...not clear lite bulb....looks great man....btw,u seems to fancy keeping so much windshield...whr are they?like tat i dun hv to buy new one lah...

.. but, i thk i hav done a mistake last Friday; whic one of u asked me to sit on Bara or Yappies's boke to judge the screens, and i didn't.. :weep: :weep:

you have 2 option.

Use a measuring tape to see how high do you need to go.

 

Contact Barracuda. He is in the west. Dont worry, i'll wait till Monday or something if you have not decide yet..

AJ, i am not holding on to any spare eagle screens at the moment other than the one mounted on my TDM now. If have, I would have sold it to you straight away. My 1st eagle (dark tint) was for my TDM850 whom I sold to magnus (still riding it and made more mods hahaha). My 2nd eagle (light tint/smoke) was sold to yappiez which he broke recently. My clear lightbulb is the 3rd one you see now. BTW I have a +0mm eagle if you want (original with eagle sticker) hahahaha

 

TH, you can come to me if you wanna sit on my alien bike. $1 per ride hahaha
